@the_fem_tm @DisaffectedPod You’re sort of right, but I feel like it’s backwards. Boys are not rapists by default. Our instincts lead us to being a bit possessive but ultimately protective. In the cultures where women are abused, boys are actively taught to abuse them.

I mean it’s actually not stupid, it won’t eradicate rape altogether of course but you can look at other parts of the world compared to the west and see it obviously does make a difference and that “rape culture” very much exists. That you think this is silly shows we actually do a decent job as a culture “teaching men not to rape”.

"Teach men not to rape!" That may sound reasonable to you on first glance because we've been hypnotized by modern feminism. But think it through, and it breaks down. It's unbearably stupid and is not connected to reality at all. The vast majority of men don't rape. There is no "inborn rape proclivity" in the majority of men that has to be "taught out." A minority of criminal, personality disordered men are rapists (just like a minority of people are murderers). You cannot "teach them not to rape." What does that even mean? Do you think your normal 12 year old son "doesn't know" that "raping girls" is a bad thing? Do you think he's inclined to do this unless you specifically tell him, "it's bad and hurts girls so you shouldn't do it?" Do you think your son responds with, "Oh, gee, mom. I never thought about it that way. OK. I promise I won't rape girls the way I was planning to." Good lord. -J

@chesterzelaya Most of my profs, especially in grad school, allowed us to make out own cheat sheets and bring them to exams. Once you're doing the advanced stuff, just knowing the formulas doesn't make the test questions easy. You need to know how and why to apply them.

@ProficFicus It's forgivable if they're a small indie team or solo dev. It takes a large team of artists to make a high fidelity world, and smaller devs need to set realistic goals. At least this game has an interesting concept and cool looking gameplay. I'll take that over pretty graphics.

Have you noticed that it's the 'redheads' that seem to get the most uglification in modern media? Why is that? Is it because it is one of the most genetically rare "white" phenotypes, where the woke, DEI, leftists have to decimate somehow by creating this notion that redheads are ugly? They did it with MJ here, and also with Aloy from Horizon, and many of the other MCU characters. Historically, redheads have gotten a lot of attention from men worldwide because of their striking exotic appearance... so maybe that's why the feminists who hate the "male gaze" have been trying to erase them? Or maybe I'm just seeing things because redheads in general are rare, and the uglification stick is hitting every Western female character.
