@TeamPokeColors Many people think that 'rare' means valuable. However, valuation is derived by desirability. Golden Age comics are rare because they were all destroyed in the 1940s but only the popular ones are valuable. Pokemon cards are not rare by any metric, the value is based on popularity.

Nothing confuses me more than the pricing difference between modern and vintage. $1,000 Pikachu that still can be printed for a few years to come but a Jungle Scyther from 1999/2000 that’s been out of print for years is $10? Make it make sense!

@VariousRegards @YorubaCowboy @whotfisjovana You are correct, people did raise and consume chickens for their meat. It is not a very difficult thing. But they were still in limited supply. They was not part of the regular diet. Typically saved for holy feast days. More likely that an old boiler was stewed.

@YorubaCowboy @whotfisjovana In fact, they are exactly that easy. Plucking the feathers is the worst of it. I am confident that even you could manage it. Easily. Any people who make their livelihood on the land would find the task entirely negligable.

A 46-year-old woman accidentally snorted 55 mg of pure LSD because she thought it was cocaine, roughly 550 times the normal recreational dose. She vomited for 12 hours and remained under the effects of the substance for about 34 hours. But when she woke up, the chronic foot pain she had suffered for over 20 years, attributed to Lyme disease, was reportedly gone. She stopped taking morphine for five days and then began microdosing LSD every three days. Three years later, she had completely quit morphine, with no withdrawal symptoms or relapse reported. Researchers described it as an extraordinary case of non-fatal high-dose LSD ingestion with long-term pain relief.

X-Files legend David Duchovny, 65, stuns fans with a full drag makeover, blonde wig, bright red lipstick, lacy black negligee, sequined mini skirt, stockings and heels. The former Mulder was snapped on the LA set of his own satirical comedy Soapbox, which he co-wrote and stars in alongside Laverne Cox (who wore a suit). He plays an ageing soap opera star caught up in modern culture wars. Duchovny looked in high spirits flashing smiles and adjusting his shades. The internet has gone nuts over seeing Fox Mulder in drag 😂😂

@TheCinesthetic The opening scene was too full on. I think the director was so keen to impress the viewer with how "crazy" the 20s was that he over did it. If he had cut it back by 40% and built it up over the film, I would have made it past the first 15 minutes.

Cocktail (1988) won a Razzie for Worst Film of the Year, and I demand a recount. It shaped bar culture. It looks gorgeous, you get Elisabeth Shue AND Gina Gershon, an ultra-charismatic Bryan Brown, and Tom Cruise doing Tom Cruise-type things. That bad? Or do we love it a little?

I know so people that have left Australia & are talking about leaving Australia, many have been fighting for change for years but it’s only getting worse. The insane cost of living, high taxes, high level of increasing migrant crime & violence is driving many Aussies out. Our nation is unrecognisable & the Australian dream is dead. What hope does the next generation have? What hope do any of us have? We have a tyrannical corrupt Antiwhite Government that are making our lives hell & they’ve rigged the system so I don’t know how we can even vote our way out of this. We look around a feel like strangers in our own country & we are demonised & terrorised by 3rd world hostile migrants. It’s not even safe to move around our own communities anymore. This isn’t living. This is no environment for our people to raise children. I love my people & this country but Australia no longer feels like home nor do I see a future here if something doesn’t change.

@LewSpears The opposite is in fact the truth. The prison colony was not very strict. Until the 1940s Australia had very few rules. However, once the population become more diverse it became harder to manage. The government needed strict central planning and legislation to maintain order.

Every Australian is descended from either a prisoner or a prison guard. This is why we despise rules, yet follow them even when they don’t make sense and resent those who do not. We are and always have been a spiritual prison colony

As a Canadian it's funny that Australia and New Zealand still haven't managed to come up with original flags for themselves, how are you still stuck on a British Ensign in the year 2026?
