Holy fuck I’m only 5 chapters in. Biblical demons, the plague, disgraced knight with heart of gold deep deep down. Grounded Dark Fantasy to the max. I don’t even want to describe the first battle. Just read it

@EruditeDM I e njoyed the Icewind Dale Trilogy when I read them. The sequel Dark Eld Trilogy is also decent, they are actually prequels. I’d have no problems recommending those 2 series if you enjoy the realms. I’d hesitate before going beyond those books.
