@gingerneilnc @sazmoyse Is it too much to ask for men to refrain from registering as female? Parkrun has age categories and the sky hasn't fallen in. Why would a sex category be any different?

@sazmoyse @FridaRadFem /2 It would become a huge barrier to organising and running events, processing results and enforcement would be practically impossible. It would kill volunteering and with it would have a huge negative impact on parkrun. All for something that what parkrun is about anyway.

Assisted dying is a highly emotive issue for people on both sides of the argument. I am disappointed that assisted dying will not pass this parliamentary session. It is my hope that it will be reintroduced in the next few months and that the will of the public and the their elected representatives will be respected soon after.

The conduct of a tiny minority in the House of Lords who have used every tactic imaginable to make sure the Assisted Dying Bill fails has been awful. I have long believed the Lords is simply not fit for purpose as a second chamber. This has cemented my view hard, and I imagine will make others realise just how ludicrous our legislative systems are. Sad day.

According to them, in addition to competing against women in sport (including boxing) Billy should now: *Always be affirmed as a woman & everyone should immediately use she/her pronouns to refer to him *Be imprisoned in a female prison, when his past inevitably catches up with him, & his crimes be recorded as being commited by a woman *Be strip-searched by a female PC when taken to the police station *Be allowed access to women's DV & rape crisis centres *Celebrated for stripping off in front of 5 year old girls in the female changing room *Ensure his salary is moved from the male category to the female category when calculating sex-inequality pay *Use any & all female-only facilities & services. *Be eligible for female-only scholarships & funding. *Change all of his documents, including his DL & Passport to record he is female *(If he were a HCP) perform intimate medical exams on women who have, specifically, requested same-sex care, with no chaperone *(If he were a hospital patient) be placed on the female-only ward *Be addressed as Mum by his children & his children's school. *Eligible to work as a rape-crisis worker in a position only open to females *(If he were a teacher) be perfectly able to access the girl's changing rooms & showers after PE *Allowed to hide any previous sexual convictions That's how easy it is.
