Nearly every nation on Earth had a Jew and a Torah living within it at some point over the past 2,000 years. Any one of them could have said, “You have the word of God. Teach us!” Instead, they beat us, burned our Torah, raped our women, exiled us, forcibly converted us, pogromed us, crusaded us, launched rockets at us spread blood libels about us and forced us into gas chambers. All of the nations rejected the Torah. And now, as promised, we have returned from exile and God is with us.

I grew up denying the Holocaust. I grew up surrounded by this narrative: “the Holocaust never happened - but it should have.” What made me realize that the Holocaust was real was October 7. Seeing innocent Jews and Jewish children get slaughtered and kidnapped into Gaza, while many around the world cheered and celebrated, did it for me. October 7, and the rampant rise of antisemitism that followed, not only made me believe that the Holocaust happened, but it also made me realize the importance of a Jewish state. Muslims have 57 countries.
