Apparently the @UKLabour have blocked years of hardwork by @NaturalEngland to prepare for beaver releases across the U.K. because it was a Tory policy. Absolutely nuts…. We’re lucky in Kent so many are now living wild like this one I caught on camera at Cottington Lakes where the anglers are very happy to live along side them. These animals can do so much good on many levels, let’s just get on with it and get them out all over the U.K.

@BenGoldsmith If something has moved out of an area, it's because there isn't the habitat there to survive. As was proven recently with wildcat kittens which were released near Braemar and soon starved to death.

In Baku today it is as if there are five @DavidLammy clones. He is everywhere at COP & making a huge & hugely positive impression.
I can’t exaggerate how great it is to have such a senior figure drag the focus away from the technocratic one-dimensional focus on carbon counting towards championing the actual natural world we all depend on and without which we haven’t a hope of stabilising the climate.
It is wonderful to see & so good to have the UK back & leading on this, the most important cause of all 👏🌎👏

The sheep kill off all native floral diversity, while the pheasants take care of any surviving native animal life: insects, spiders, mammals, reptiles, amphibians ...
And then people wonder why biodiversity is collapsing.
