Duran, Kwan, Dominguez, Cowser, Nootbaar any of these guys would make sense to give the Friars multiple years of an elite outfield. 1B is much thinner. Aranda, Steer, Schanuel. Meh

Interesting day in Padres land. I wouldn't say that either the ceiling or the floor for the team was raised. But the floor was definitely reinforced, and that was a huge need. I still think it's possible Preller does something big to raise the ceiling and Duran makes sense.
