Great to see the Mayor @SadiqKhan & Deputy Mayor for Transport @SebDance at Stockwell opening the new @Go_Ahead_London Control Center.
There are a number of local constituents employed at the bus station, working hard across the public transport network to support Londoners.

A special moment for me today - as the son of a bus driver, I was delighted to open Go-Ahead London’s new Operations Control Centre in Stockwell. It will oversee 170 bus routes and help make London’s network safer and more efficient for the one million people who use it daily.

Wonderful to celebrate London’s LGBTQ+ community and to see friends and colleagues.

Just witnessed fair evasion and, having pointed it out to one of *five* @metpoliceuk officers standing by the barriers, was dismissively told to move on.
After I protested, another (very polite) officer belatedly tried to find the suspect, by which time he was long gone!

Together with @aktcharity, we have written for @LeftFootFwd on tackling the hidden crisis of LGBT+ homelessness.
akt's new research finds that LGBT+ people are twice as likely to experience hidden homelessness as non-LGBT+ individuals.
