This is the kind of meal that my parents would make and popped up regularly in the dinner cycle growing up but I still don’t quite feel adult enough to make it yet.

they dont want you to know this, but literally just sauerkraut and kielbasa is a perfectly nutritionally complete meal with protein, fiber, carbs, and probiotics. you could be polackmaxxing, but you wont.

I have a friend who’s never been hungover in his life but drinks like a 22-year-old on spring break basically every weekend.
He Ran the United Half after 14 drinks the night before 8:30 mile pace so he’s not a fat piece of shit
Has put up 20+ drinks in a night and wakes up like nothing happened. He’s been like this since college.
Is this elite genetics or is his body just saving up one catastrophic hangover when he’s like 40? (He’s 29 right now)

@EODHappyCaptain I went to basic and we did all the killing terrorists, commies, bird cadences etc
We only had to dial them down at Ft Sam Houston (military medical training center for all branches) and switch a lot of the same cadences to life saving which was very cringey but fair 😂

The entire point of basic training is indoctrination. American Soldiers are trained to kill; that’s how you protect your country when diplomacy doesn’t work.
I went to infantry basic training in 2008. Every cadence, every story, and every bit of training was focused on preparing for that.
You have to make the mental shift to prepare for combat. Talking about it is how you accomplish that.
