@b_acker70 No way they were getting much in return for TVR. That extra first is their trade bait for a winger along with a prospect or CM. And defense didn’t collapse. Penalty kill actually improved. Hey I hated losing Carlson but it was the right move to help get us scoring winger

@LuvtheCaps I highly doubt a team that needs to rebuild is trading two firsts for a winger. Who realistically could we get with that? And as you've seen, team defense has collapsed in Carlson's absence. They could easily have dealt TVR and opened up a spot for Hutson while keeping Carlson

Just letting y'all know, I'm not living the John Carlson trade down unless the first-round pick we got for him turns into a borderline hall-of-fame player. And looking at some of the late first-rounders we've taken, I'm not too confident that'll come to fruition.

Kuzy update: we’re doing a little better today. Still not 100 percent. But she’s the strongest pup I know. Thank you guys for all the support so far! That said if anyone has any recommendations on making her more comfortable, pain management, etc. please let me know!

Sorry that I’ve been away from the keyboard today — Kuzy and I spent all last night at the emergency pet hospital and are headed to the vet again. She’s been in quite a bit of pain, and we’re not sure why. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. Much love ❤️

Konnor Griffin hit his 3rd HR of the spring today. He’s 19 and has a legit shot to make the opening day roster. The last 19 year old to start on Opening Day was Adrian Beltre in the 90s. Griffin hit .333 and stole 65 bases in the minors last year.
