@toadmeister I llived this exact same scenario with @virginmedia. Problem was the address not existing in VM (though it did exist in O2). Took 4 months+countless called to resolve for the same reasons. AI and scripts are in charge of everything. Heaven help you if your scenario doesn’t fit.

After spending Christmas sick, alone and offline, Jane Hewland says her saga with British Telecom shows what happens when humans defer to systems and AI – where scripts rule and a 10-minute fix takes a month. dailysceptic.org/2026/02/22/the…

@RKanyok @wil_da_beast630 Wow. I’d heard that wings weren’t as cheap as they used to be due to demand but that’s crazy. We have similar situation in uk with oxtail, though. It’s gone from being almost given away to now being priced as a premium cut due to fashionability and limited supply
English

@MJCockerill @wil_da_beast630 In the U.S. they’re priced like chicken breasts.

What will it be?
English

@RKanyok @wil_da_beast630 Can be had for £2/kg in the uk vs £30/kg for steak.
English

@MJCockerill @wil_da_beast630 Chicken wings haven’t been cheap since Covid.

@IceBrkr That was my first thought too. Comes around, goes around…

@DJSnM @Franz_Ferdinand Any idea what the italics denote?

You can tell that @Franz_Ferdinand are a top tier band because they can play their most famous tune in their main set and still have shit hot tunes saved for the encore.

Really nice piece from @KimKongKimchi founder James Read. Be sure to try his Pineapple Tepache recipe which magically transforms leftover pineapple peelings into a delicious fermented drink.
