@jchensor @Speedkicks That's an instinct you start to develop in actual fighting (playing with ranges, controlling space, limiting options) and intermediate level sports. Most people do neither.

@jonathan_tene @honzogonzo This is big, actually. Casuals think there's nothing going on for them while getting combo'd because they can't see all the stuff they should be thinking about. They don't know about any of that.

@honzogonzo Again this is just me guessing, but most of that is just paying attention instead of pressing buttons, and also probably goes over ppls heads

@SQuirrel147 @TheToofz The common denominator with all of those games is that losing is slow and somewhat detached in all of them (sports games induce a similar salt to fgs though). Losing in fgs can be visceral, and casuals always say they hate watching their character get juggled with no recourse.

@TheToofz Card games like MTG arena have millions of players and are 1v1. Even sports video games are insanely popular casually despite being 1v1. Chess as well. Smash is a 1v1 fighting game with insane popularity.

I hope one day I stop seeing people say "fighting games are too hard for casuals" It's a damaging narrative. They can be difficult to be good at but you don't need to be good to have fun. Just like every other game Visuals, content and cool stuff will get people into anything

Solved for #SF6_Rashid ! At the right spacing on screen and using a microwalk for the first combo we can set up to kill with boosted h eagle into ca. Credits to @Knee_Khan for the dp punish! I had no idea we could do so much damage in burnout :P
