Less than 1% of the population ever serves in the military. So maybe hush about VA benefits when you couldn’t be bothered

@LilBramwell @DyerSitchuation @JustinFeikema @autocorrect2_0 I am discussing an individual who explained he was coached on how to make a benign condition seem worse than it was on paper, and how to get professional courtesies along the way. It was formal and informal in nature. He was confident they don't bother to prosecute it.

@SmitysTweets @TLCplMax @grok Nah, I'm not going to do that. Which is how I know fraud is higher than 1%. It's easier to move on when you learn someone is unethical than to participate in the spontaneous destruction of their family.

It's hard to talk about the VA disability thing with any nuance. I don't think VA disability fraud is rampant, as all claims are evaluated by doctors and the VA ultimately makes the final decision that is outside of any veteran's control.

But your employer cannot physically detain you and keep you from going home and punish you with loss of pay and demotions and making you stay at work for an extra 6 hours 7 days out of the week just to do whatever he tells uou to do just because you showed up late for work one day.

“If you never served in combat you shouldn’t get compensation for the military breaking and fucking up your body during every other day of the week which still resulted in lifelong ailments and degenerative diseases in the majority of veterans who ever served before they reached the age of 30” This is why non veterans and people who aren’t immediate family members of veterans and know what life looks like in the military because they lived it themselves need to shut the fuck up forever and always on the topic of veterans affairs.
Angie G@MomAngtrades

Military Disability fraud is rampant. You can claim erectile dysfunction and get a check, as it’s a recognized disability. I’m sorry, but unless you served in combat, you shouldn’t get disability.

Do those guys sign their lives and freedoms away to their employers and can their employers detain them and take their paycheck and demote them for something as trivial as showing up to work late one time on one single day? Can their employers tell them that they have to move across the world for an undesignated time and leave their families behind and put them on a plane or a ship within a 24 hour period? Can their employer punish them by taking away their livelihoods and personal time whenever they want and at their discretion to come back to work at any moment any day of the week 24 hours of the day and 7 days of the week?

@SmitysTweets @TLCplMax @grok You are right. We should start snitching on the disabled vets we know that openly admit they don't need disability but love working under the table while collecting it.

@Bathilde777 @coolp100 @TLCplMax Could it be they both suck at helping the people that actually need it, and give it to people that don't? I ask because I know both of those people.

@maybedanielleee I was told by someone abusing disability that he was taught how to get maximum benefits during his time at Fort Campbell.

When I was a social worker, two of my clients were exposed to Agent Orange. The process to get approved for VA disability benefits was absurd. The disability claim, military records, test results, medical records, and "scientific proof" that the condition was caused by Agent Orange... Then the test results were not accepted, so they had to do more. This went on for YEARS. How these people are doing it, I have NO idea.

This guy went to school on a Government scholarship as a Navy reservist and now gets $2,000 a month in disability for his anxiety and depression. Glad to know my tax dollars aren't being waster here🙄

@XRPNoahh @DyerSitchuation @JustinFeikema @autocorrect2_0 They think that because they were coached and it never gets found it wasn't fraud but literally every Midwesterner knows multiple people who admit they were told how to get maximum benefits when they didn't need it.

@DyerSitchuation @JustinFeikema @autocorrect2_0 I know multiple people I went to school with and my father who is a 30 year vet knows a ton who all claim bullshit. You're not fooling anyone, the only people that have an issue with this topic are ones who are abusing the system.

@DyerSitchuation @JustinFeikema @autocorrect2_0 Yeah maybe the veterans committing fraud should stop telling people "oh yeah they taught me how to get disability as I was getting out." And then spending their lives working under the table because they could work just fine all along.

@Brandon08193608 @GnosticSoul @MatrixMysteries I know someone who actually got injured in a training exercise and it caused permenant nerve damage in his hands and feet. He has been battling for a minor disability rating for years, but he didn't use a guy showing you how to cheat. He just wanted help for his actual problem.

@Brandon08193608 @GnosticSoul @MatrixMysteries Yup, the worst offender I know works out for hours a day. He got medically discharged from the army, and collects disability for an injury that just isn't real. He works a highly physical job under the table. He is milking the system while cheating on taxes for 15 years.

A married couple revealed their government checks. “$142,000 a year.” From disability. $4,700 a month for her. $7,200 a month for him. What does it say about the system when they’re making more doing nothing than the taxpayers working to fund it.

@OverlyTrev We are 25 years away from a large scale adoption. The energy infrastructure doesn't exist. They are about 300 billion pounds of lithium battery short. Enjoy off-peak charging while it exists. 25k people plugging their cars in at night will be a different formula.

There is a huge misconception when people claim it only takes 5 minutes to fill up a gas tank versus charging an EV. Here are the key considerations: 1. The typical time spent at a gas pump is 8–9 minutes, but it varies: - Circle K: 8.9 minutes - Sheetz: 11.5 minutes - Wawa: 11.4 minutes - Buc-ee’s: 20.3 minutes 2. Filling up requires driving to the station, which can take 10–45 minutes depending on your location and the nearest station. 3. Oil changes and maintenance take time and money (even if you do them yourself, you still have to buy oil and perform the work). EVs eliminate this entirely. 4. Home charging takes seconds to plug in, and you wake up to a full charge the next day. 5. In March, I spent $9 on electricity while current gas prices are $3.49/gallon—a savings of over $60 in fuel for the month. 6. Adding up time and money saved over a year comes to roughly 15–30 hours and over $750, and I don’t even drive that much. EV’s save you time and money and once you have one you’ll never go back to gas.
