Democrats claiming that they’re fighting to defund ICE are flat wrong. ICE and the CBP are already funded through the Working Families Tax Cut. To suggest otherwise is a total fabrication that endangers our national security. It’s the hard-working public servants at @DHSgov, @fema, @TSA, and @USCG who bear the burden of Democrats’ inaction.

Florida has already shown that a balanced-budget requirement works—and Crazy Town should follow that lead. That’s why I voted in favor of H.J. Res. 139, a constitutional amendment that would finally rein in reckless spending. If families are expected to live within their means, the federal government should too. Unfortunately, Democrats don’t agree.

Anyone here illegally who defrauds the U.S. or steals benefits from the most vulnerable will be IMMEDIATELY DEPORTED.  Northeast Floridians work too hard for every dollar—they shouldn’t be taken advantage of by those who already broke the law to be here.

Last week, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Nearly one in eight women in the United States will face this diagnosis. Every day, these women continue to raise their families, go to work, and serve their communities with strength and determination. I now join their ranks. I am grateful to have an outstanding team of doctors who detected the cancer early and are guiding my care, and I am encouraged by a very good prognosis. I am also deeply thankful for the support and encouragement of President Trump as I undergo treatment and continue serving in my role as White House Chief of Staff.
