Since I'm in Omaha, reading about the formation of the People's Party, the largest progressive movement of the 1890s, which had it's first convention here, and most of it tracks with today's left progressives, except one big exception... Wall Street bad, big corporations bad, better conditions for workers, more open elections, and then, immigration bad, very bad.
