Ladybird Books has published a Happy Pride image on Instagram featuring a Muslim woman in hijab. Ladybird is one of the UK's biggest children's books publishers and its books are read by kids as young as two. The image features a Muslim woman in hijab carrying a baby alongside another woman. A caption reads: "Everyone should be free to be themselves, no matter who they are or who they love." Homosexual acts are strictly forbidden in Islam.

16000 NHS PATIENTS DIED AFTER LONG A&E WAITS IN ENGLAND LAST YEAR AS SERIOUS SURGERY BLUNDERS HIT RECORD LEVELS The Royal College of Emergency Medicine has revealed nearly 16000 deaths in 2025 were linked to excessive waits in A&E departments almost ten times higher than the 1657 recorded in 2015. Last year saw a slight drop from 16644 deaths in 2024 but the figure still equates to more than 300 every week with long waits skyrocketing since 2021. Nearly 17 million patients attended Type 1 emergency departments in 2025 the highest number ever yet only 60.5 percent were admitted transferred or discharged within the four hour target. A staggering 1.74 million waited at least 12 hours while 489138 remained for 24 hours or longer an increase of 150000 in three years. The RCEM report states for every 72 patients who wait between eight and 12 hours before admission there is one additional death and has called for a national commitment to eradicate waiting time deaths by 2030. In the same period the NHS recorded 403 never events including 166 cases of wrong site surgery and 121 incidents of objects left inside patients. And this all happens under Labour..
