One of the realities of living in the area we do is the occasional celebrity signing. Funny story about Gary Busey. I was driving home from LAX after flying a Delta trip late one night. The traffic was so bad on the 405 that night so I decided to drive up the PCH, look at the ocean, and not get stressed. I pulled up to a stop light in Malibu, still in my Delta pilot uniform, tie, epaulets and all. It was around midnight on a Friday. I looked to my left while at the light, and in the vehicle next to me is Gary Busey. He looks over at me and sees me in my uniform and he freaks out! He thinks I’m a cop. 🤣🤣🤣 He immediately looks straight ahead and put his hands on the steering wheel at 10 and 2! No more eye contact. I laughed all the way home! 🤣🤣🤣
