The part you are skipping is, after you worked for years and saved your money (while not having insurance), if something happens you WILL LOSE ALL YOUR MONEY. This works while you are young and don't have shit, but once you are older, own things, have a family, you are just cannot not have it.

American is a healthy 28 year old, he decided to skip paying for health insurance this year because the cheapest plan was $900 per month with a high deductible He had to spend 2 nights in the ER without insurance, he breaks down the bill “This is my receipt from spending 2 days in the hospital: - It totaled about $24,000 - My CT scan alone was $8,300 - Laboratory, 6,000 - IV therapy, $1,020, $4,000 in total And while $24,000 seems like a lot of money, let me show you something. This is what I'm actually paying, $2,478 because when you don't have insurance, these hospitals give you a discount. They discounted $22,000 off of this bill” “But if I had insurance, I wouldn't have gotten that discount. So it would've been a $24,000 bill billed to my insurance, and then my insurance would've said, ‘Hey, you have a $5,000 deductible. You need to pay $5,000 for this last emergency room visit.’ Then you tack on the $900 a month that I'd be paying for that insurance. I'd be paying $20K this year for healthcare. So the craziest part about this is even if I have another hospital visit, by the end of this year, I'm still gonna be paying less than I would if I had insurance. At minimum, my cost for healthcare this year would've been $20,000 with insurance. Right now I'm at $2,400.” US Health Insurance is a scam

I am so tired of ringing up my own purchases. @Lowes, you need actual cashiers, not people standing around making sure customers ring everything up. I bought some adhesive today, and the register wouldn't continue until the supervisor typed in a bunch of overrides. How is this any different than her ringing up the purchase herself? There is no one in any department to assist with finding anything, and I find myself buying items on my Amazon app WHILE SHOPPING IN YOUR STORE because I cannot find anyone to help me. Do you want me to show up in the morning to unload the trucks and stock the shelves, too?

I think everyone's focused on the wrong part of this story. Sharma's not just cutting prices, she's talking to Netflix about bundling Game Pass. If that happened Game Pass gets in front of 300M people overnight. This is how you grow a platform. gamespot.com/articles/new-x…

NEW: The LAPD is setting up drivers by having someone walk across the street in an "unmarked crosswalk" so they can then give tickets to people who don't stop. "Recently, LAPD Van Nuys division conducted a Pedestrian Enforcement Taskforce," they shared online. The LAPD says the trap was made to "promote education" after they've "had a string of accidents that have resulted in fatal or severe injuries related to pedestrians."

🇺🇸 A judge ordered the Pentagon to restore press credentials and stop screening journalists. The Pentagon's response: comply with the ruling, close the entire correspondents' corridor, and relocate media to an external annex that's still under construction. The court said you can't control who covers the military. The military said fine, but you're covering it from across the parking lot now. This is happening during the biggest U.S. military operation in two decades, when press access to the Pentagon matters more than at any point since Iraq. Source: @SeanParnellASW @BreannaMorello

🚨🇺🇸 PENTAGON PRESS RESTRICTIONS: A NECESSARY CORRECTION OR A STEP TOO FAR? The Pentagon just announced a "new media" press corps after legacy outlets walked out over new press policies. Gateway Pundit, Post Millennial, Human Events, Timcast, and others signed on. Fox News, Newsmax, Washington Times, and Daily Caller declined. Let's acknowledge reality: mainstream media spent years as Democrat propaganda outlets. CNN, MSNBC, NYT, and WaPo earned their skepticism through relentless bias, Russia hoaxes, and coordinated attacks on Trump. The administration's frustration is completely justified. It's encouraging to see journalists like @Timcast getting proper Pentagon access. Independent media broke the stranglehold legacy outlets had on information flow. They deserve a seat at the table. But this is a highly nuanced and complicated tightrope for the Pentagon to walk. The new policy blocks journalists from soliciting unauthorized information, even unclassified details. The goal is understandable: stop hostile media from weaponizing leaks. The concern is real: does this accidentally create the very information control MAGA fought against? Trump won because Americans bypassed media gatekeepers and found truth directly. The solution to bad speech has always been more speech, not restrictions. Let biased outlets expose themselves through their coverage. Let MSM embarrass themselves with lies. Let the audience decide who's credible. The Pentagon faces an impossible task: reform a corrupt press system without becoming what they opposed.

The first time I visited San Francisco, I was eating a burger on the patio of some fast casual spot when a homeless guy came up and asked me to buy him a burger and fries. Normally I ignore it, but I was feeling generous. I went inside, ordered it, came back out, and handed it to him. He opens the burger, sees onions, immediately starts yelling at me, and then throws the whole thing on the ground. While he’s screaming about the onions, the owner comes out with a broom and chases him off. That was the last time I ever went out of my way to buy a homeless person food.

Kansas revoked 1,700 transgender driver’s licenses overnight — with zero warning. What happens if your driver’s license is suddenly invalid — while you’re on the road? In Kansas, about 1,700 transgender residents had their licenses revoked overnight under a law that took effect February 26, with no grace period. Letters informed recipients that their licenses were “immediately invalid.” The law requires all gender markers on IDs and birth certificates to match sex assigned at birth, retroactively canceling any previous changes — a move no other state has attempted. The law also bans transgender people from using restrooms that match their gender identity in government buildings and allows citizens to sue alleged violators for up to $1,000. Governor Kelly vetoed the bill, but the Republican supermajority overrode the veto. Kansas had allowed gender marker changes since 2007. The ACLU filed a lawsuit, claiming the law violates due process and equal protection, though a judge has declined to block it while litigation continues. In response, Trans Liberty PAC issued a statewide evacuation advisory, urging transgender Kansans to leave the state.

Senator Fetterman LAUGHS in the face of lunatic James Carville — and fires back after watching his profanity-laced attack on him. “Jim has been struggling for relevance for the last 30 years.” FETTERMAN: “I’m proud to be on the right side of Epic Fury, I’m proud to be on the right side of standing with Israel.” “And for me, it’s country over party and he acknowledged I’m [he’s] blinded by TDS.” “So I’m the one guy that represents Pennsylvania.” “I’m not an angry, weird guy online.” “I represent a state like Pennsylvania that keeps you honest and I’m the only one…that flipped a seat as well.” “So some people might listen to his advice but I’ve actually done the kinds of thing that really matters in the current time we are in politically.”
