@megievalist I’ve read about the Templars trials and Eliphas Levi. It’s interesting to note that his 1856 portrayal is the first time it develops real lore, becomes hermaphroditic, and represents a union of opposites. It’s largely a description of an idol that varies before that.

The 'Stourbridge Scene' was dubbed Grebo by the NME, with bands like The Wonder Stuff, Ned's Atomic Dustbin and Pop Will Eat Itself lumped together under a kind of indie-electro-funk-rock-psychedelia tag. That's slightly unfair as PWEI has a pretty wide range of sounds and an impressive back catalogue of tunes.
Can U Dig It? may not have troubled the charts much, but every student bar in '89 would have it on the jukebox. Woe betide you if you didn't know every name dropped in the song!

@unkownlast69 @davepl1968 I’m really not suggesting that anyone change their system. Everything you’ve described is still accomplishable with my existing Mac/Linux setup except the anti-cheat. The question was more “what software am I unable to use?”. Everyone should use what works best for them

@_aesthebit_ @davepl1968 and MacBook isn't viable for 3d rendering and instead of buying 2 devices i could get a high end desktop for the same price of a macbook pro with 24gb ram so what's your recommending dosen't make sense at all

1) Because modern Windows has lost its way
2) Because Windows is like pizza. When it's good, it's great. When it's bad, it's still better than nothing at all.
On the desktop, it's 90% about the top-tier Windows applications. For now, the only practical alternative is MacOS, and you'll still need a Windows box some days.
Unless and until the apps are available on Linux, it remains a great back-end system.

@unkownlast69 @davepl1968 vendor/Industry lock-in. FreeCAD is quite good now. It’s been looked at by BMW etc for production so it’s definitely past the hobby level w/recent major updates. AutoCAD is available for Mac, and while that won’t work for you as a Win user, it would be fine for a Mac/Linux user.

As a follower of Aleister Crowley’s Thelema, I can tell you that David here hadn’t read a single piece of his writing.
No Christians ever read a single thing Crowley wrote and base all their presumptions on church propaganda, urban legends, and other such nonsense.
But people like David here will never change. He won’t even read any of Crowley or any other esotericist to argue his point. It’s just hearsay and fear.
