My mom has a small business in Germany making 300k in revenue per year. - 150k are taxes, - 25k in tax attorney costs - a full work week for tax related bureaucracy - 50k for Employees (and their taxes) - 30-50k for goods So she's left with 20-50k for working 60h a week. Dope. This is how you destroy the middle class and the foundation for generational wealth, growth and prosperity. Oh and Germany has 5m public servants (out of 45m working age)
Peer Richelsen@peer_rich

its always “work harder” and never “lets make it easier for you to be productive” businesses in germany struggle under bureaucracy and regulations employees struggle under 42% tax rate fix those before telling us to work harder

@randomARK95 @BonkDaCarnivore My dad owns a Tesla and after 6 years the battery is dead. Tesla replaced it with a recycled battery and there's 2 years left on the warranty, now with a recycled battery. He's less keen on Tesla now. People need time to find out. 3 years ago I had shares, now I have puts.

Brother, all a scam from every angle is absolutely absurd. Everybody that I talk to that owns a $TESLA loves it and tells EVERYBODY about it. I haven’t had someone tell me about their Honda or Toyota in 20+ years. You short and I long and we meet up in a decade and compare. Best of luck

I get asked this a lot. Almost every time I do an economic space, in fact. "Why do you hate $TSLA so much?" It's all a scam, from every angle. Anyone who has access to Tesla insiders will hear the same story from them: The whole Optimus experiment is largely a fraud. Every notable executive on the project has left the company, and the vast majority of the engineers took off, too. Every demo of Optimus was telecontrolled by a human in a nearby room - the robots themselves have absolutely no autonomous capabilities and are years behind their competitors. This isn't "inside information", this is something various engineers have said and Tesla has admitted; what I've heard from former executives largely just serves to validate what has been said publicly as "understating the problem". Nobody wants their cars. Robotic taxi service is going to become a commodity service, and Tesla is way behind its competition there with no path to close the gap. The solar roofs were a great idea executed terribly (I have the solar roofs on multiple properties, and they're great, but I'd never buy another one because of the Tesla factor). The only interesting vertical in the entire company is the power delivery unit. It's growing at a VERY healthy clip, but the margins aren't there and at best help wipe away some of the NEGATIVE value of the company in other verticals. Tesla is a stock that is buoyed by nothing more than dumb money that keeps piling in to it and a CEO that gets away with making fraudulent claim after fraudulent claim with no repercussions. It has a useless board that won't keep him in check, and instead allows him to continue consolidating power when he's run the company terribly over the last few years. And THAT'S why I shorted it heavily at the end of 2024 (and made a fortune doing so) and why I again shorted it at the end of 2025. It's simple: I don't go long on bad companies with bad prospects.

$TSLA - TESLA OPTIMUS ROBOT FACES SETBACKS Tesla’s Optimus humanoid robot project is facing technical and timeline challenges despite President Donald Trump’s recent praise of CEO Elon Musk. The robots remain hand-built, lack full dexterity, and are often remotely operated, prompting delays in factory deployment. The robotics push comes as Tesla’s core EV business weakens, with vehicle sales down in 2025 and global EV leadership lost to BYD.

There is hardly anything positive around Tesla, Sales VPs quit, there is no robotaxi service, there is no FSD improvement and worst of all, sales further decline on all 3 continents. $tsla is kept artificially high with daily call options however capital outflow continues.

@realsashastone @CaseyPMoran The characters were meant to be cliched and stereotyped. The film was a commentary on contemporary political polarisation. It did focus on authoritarian threat, but also the lack of radical ideological coherency and showed how both sides perpetuated a state of senseless conflict.

@CaseyPMoran You're probably not older than me. If that's a masterpiece then the best films he ever made are second rate. Magnolia is a masterpiece. I'd even go with There Will Be Blood. One Battle is simple minded and silly. Also cliched and stereotyped. For Sean Penn's character alone.

Australia supports the US strikes on ISIS in Syria. ISIS is a radical, extremist organisation which has caused immense suffering worldwide, including the ISIS-inspired antisemitic terror attack at Bondi last Sunday. We must all stand together to reject its violent ideology.

Do you think that most migrants know what sort of conditions they are walking into in Australia and they just come anyway, or are they mostly just unaware of how hard it is to get a home or how challenging the cost of living is? I honestly dont know.

Yes, I'm angry. We should all be angry. Ukrainians deserve no less for our collective inaction.
Yasmina@yasminalombaert

Kasparov is 100% right. NATO is a joke, Trump is a grifter selling out Europe’s security, and Ukraine is saving all our butts while we squabble. Kasparov is totally fed up and says Europe/NATO are a joke for celebrating while Ukraine is doing all the fighting and dying to save them from putin. He rips into the West's pathetic aid and hesitation, and calls the whole idea of a "deal" to end the war a "real estate deal" to enrich Trump's buddies at Ukraine's expense. He basically says: Stop stalling, NATO is weak, Trump is selling you out, and if Ukraine loses, you guys are next! “I'm getting desperate. This is the best, you know, show putin can hope for. Not a single straight answer. It's not about how many weapons you have, ammunition. It's: Are you willing to fight and die? Oh, it's nice, you have a Canadian Led Brigade in Latvia. What's the order for this brigade? Will they shoot if Russians cross the border? We know the answer. It will take ages to negotiate. I still didn't hear a clear response to it. It's not, you know, I can't even imagine this. How can we discuss seriously a deal made by Trump's business partner? You know, it's a real estate deal to enrich Trump's family and and and sell Ukraine. And it's it's, yeah, how can we seriously discuss that Ukraine will have to give up fortifications that are saving Europe? Ah, we're celebrating NATO. NATO is not strong. NATO doesn't exist. It's a fake. It's NATO, four letters. The reason you are still sitting here and and celebrating it: Ukraine is dying every minute. It’s massive sacrifice. If not for Ukraine, if not for Ukraine standing, Russian tanks would be already in Poland. You all suggested that Ukraine would give up. You offered Zelenskyy a ride, and he said, "I don't need a ride, I need ammunition." For years, Ukraine is fighting for the whole Europe. NATO was built to fight only one war—not to go to Afghanistan, not to go to Syria—one war: to save free Europe from Russian aggression. Ukraine is the only country that is fighting this war, and we are still discussing: Should we include them or not? Ukraine is the only country that that is fulfilling NATO's destiny. And we we owe them everything. Oh, let's let's let's sacrifice them. But Zelenskyy is making in, I don't know even how to explain this choice. As a Russian, I also feel guilty. That's why I cannot tell him, you know, show Trump, Trump middle finger. But again, we have how many senators we have here? Are you going to tell Donald Trump that he cannot do that? You have 85. 85. 85 is more than two, yes? If I'm out of 100 senator. So, yes, how how how come that, you know, this bill is still sitting somewhere in in in on on on the floor of the Senate, and it's not still being being done? putin is seeing all others, they are celebrating it. And by the way, Russia has North Korean, they have Cubans, they have Africans volunteers. So, and we're still talking about escalation. We have everything: military, political, economic powers on our on our side, and we're still losing the war. It's thanks to Ukraine, Russia is not fulfilling Putin's dream of restoring restoring uh Russian empire. But if, God forbid, Ukraine is forced to make this deal, then, very clear, Putin will will will realize his dream, and then, guys, you're next. But you are not willing willing to fight.” he said.
