The actuality 🥱🙄: Stop your revisionist dirty lies. Wrong on every count. Israel captured Sinai in a defensive preemptive war in 1967 after Egypt expelled UN peacekeepers, massed troops on the border, and blockaded the Straits of Tiran, casus belli. No court questioned it’s legality Israel immediately offered to return Sinai and Golan for peace—Arabs replied with the Khartoum 'Three No's': no peace, no recognition, no nothing No annexation ever happened. A handful of settlements were built as buffers. After the 1973 Yom Kippur War Egypt&Syria surprise attack; Israel still won, reaching near Cairo and Damascus), Camp David Accords peace treaty led to full Israeli withdrawal by 1982 dismantling all settlements in exchange for Egypt's recognition of Israel, demilitarized Sinai, and secure shipping. That's classic land-for-peace, not expansionism. Totally legitimate. Your stole it narrative ignores Egypt starting the cycle of aggression. Peace held 47 years because Egypt chose diplomacy over endless war. Facts v revisionism. 🤡🤥

You illegally conquered the Sinai and built a large settlemenr there to annex it. You refused to give it up until Egypt and Syria attacked your forces in occupied territory. Not a single country in the world at the time objected, because everyone knew you stole it and that they were taking back what was rightfully theirs. Your own example perfectly illustrates the expansionist nature of your colonial enterprise.

In Israel, we are such a diabolical expansionist and colonialist country, that in 1978 we gave up two thirds of our territory to have peace with Egypt

This is the shot you can’t get from the press site. This camera was sitting a few football fields from the SLS rocket at Pad 39B for days before launch, baking in the Florida sun, surviving rain, humidity, and whatever else the Cape threw at it. No photographer behind the viewfinder. Just a camera, a sound trigger, and a bet. The way pad remotes work: you set your camera up days in advance, dial in your composition, lock everything down, and walk away. You don’t touch it again until after the launch. The shutter fires on sound activation with a @MiopsTrigger smart+ trigger. With SLS, the four RS-25 engines ignite six seconds before the solid rocket boosters, so the camera is already firing before the vehicle even leaves the pad. You get home, pull the card, and find out if you nailed it or if a bird landed on your lens two days ago and left your a present and you got 400 photos of soemthing crappy. There’s no formula for protecting your gear this close. Some photographers build wooden boxes with doors that pop open. Some use plastic bags and tape. Some do plastic or metal barn door rigs on hinges. I tend to leave mine open just in plastic rain covers because boxes limit my composition and setup time, but that means your cameras are more exposed to the elements and whatever energy and debris comes off the pad. You’re basically gambling a camera body every time you set one. That’s what I love about this genre. There’s no playbook. You make it up as you go. Every time is an adventure. 📸 credit: me for @SuperclusterHQ - Artemis II pad remote | ~1,000 ft from Pad 39B | Kennedy Space Center

Capitalism was kept in check by the Soviet Union till the 1990s. So many nice policies that western governments in Europe and US implemented were out of fear of communism, fear that people may revolt. Once that threat was gone, the politicians started favoring corporates more and more. Ever since then, capitalism has slowly become completely unhinged because of zero competition. The world needs a strong pushback against these monopolist corporate powers.

@dasnielsenson @makapatag It's well documented that they conspire and lie to you. For example, the Protocols were written by the Tsar's secret police to redirect popular anger at the regime towards Jewish people instead. Without a material analysis you will fall for every elite plot to defang you.

marxism is cool because it gives you the ability to completely accept the world for what it is, to move forward regardless, and more: the techniques for possibly changing it. it's the anti-escapism of philosophy. the "lock-in" of philosophy.

part of the reason its easy to funnel people into meaningless protests like No Kings is so many Americans believe their own myths so deeply and have no idea how deep the rot is.

“Someone decided that deliberation was latency. Someone decided to build a system that produces 1,000 targeting decisions an hour and call them high-quality. Someone decided to start this war. Several hundred people are sitting on Capitol Hill, refusing to stop it. Calling it an “AI problem” gives those decisions, and those people, a place to hide.”

I don't think people understand the gravity of the situation as the UN is preparing for possible nuclear weapon use in Iran. This is a picture of Tehran. For you uneducated, untraveled, never-served, warhawks licking your chops at the thought of bombing it. It's not some low population desert. There are families, children, family pets. Regular working class people with dreams. You're sick to want war. Tehran is a city of nearly 10,000,000 people. Imagine nuking Washington, Berlin, Paris, London, or beyond, bombed with nuclear weapons. I gave up my diplomatic career to leak this information. I suspended my duties so as not to be part of or a witness to this crime against humanity, in an attempt to prevent a nuclear winter before it is too late. Yesterday, nearly ten million people protested “No Kings” in the United States. The possibility of the use of nuclear weapons must be taken very seriously. It's dangerous. Act now. Spread this message worldwide. Take the streets. Protest for our humanity and future. Only the people can stop it. History will remember us.

@kvshlvk @LightningShade0 @MinModulation and yet in the real world the exact opposite condition prevails. The anti-trans crowd are the ones disciplining women who are insufficiently feminine and men who are insufficiently masculine. They naturalize sexism as a product of the body rather than a product of society.

I still can’t believe the Washington Post ran a story all-but-accusing the US of dropping land mines from the air into random locations in Iran, based on reporting from the “Reason2Resist” podcast and Iran’s state news agency. Extraordinarily irresponsible.

Images show what experts say are U.S. land mines dispersed across a residential area in southern Iran. Human rights groups have long called to ban land mines because of their propensity to harm or kill civilians, often years after conflicts have ended. wapo.st/41hPU2N
