I’m beyond excited to share that my work is in the Architecture Interpreted exhibit at Praxis Gallery in Minnesota! 🎉 My first show at Praxis, my first exhibition in Minneapolis (Prince’s hometown!), and I’ve never even been there. My work is going places I’ve never been. 💫

@ScottPresler @coondogcrazy Texan here. One of the big problems I see is that a lot of folks don't even know there is a runoff. We tend to get "election fatigue." Some reach out to voters is badly needed.

@DerrickEvans4WV Do these people not realize most airports have customs? Upon returning from outside of the US, travelers must pass through customs checkpoints and present a valid passport. I guess members of Congress don't go through customs either? No TSA line, no customs. Wow.

@BoringMath1276 @Codie_Sanchez In Texas, we have homestead exemptions. Once you file for one, it will limit tax increases. This system rewards long term owners. Of course, rising property values can negate the homestead exemption.

@Codie_Sanchez The $15-20k state income tax saving is real, but property taxes in Texas run about 1.8% vs California's 0.7%. On a $500k house that's $5,500/year extra in Texas. The breakeven depends heavily on whether you rent or buy. Most "0% income tax" comparisons ignore this completely.

Why I’d live in Austin over SF any day: - Cost of living: 30-50% lower than SF, NY, LA - State income tax: 0% - A household earning $200k keeps $15-20k more per year in Texas - Oracle, Tesla, Apple, Google all moved or expanded here SF still leads in AI. But if you want to buy something, own something, and build wealth without giving it back to Uncle Sam… Austin is the most rational financial decision on the map right now. *Also fewer socialists so that’s a win.

@mattvanswol @JamieBonkiewicz Passport cards are $30. The $165 is for the full book style passport. Only needed if you plan to travel outside of Canada, Mexico, and Caribbean. Both provide proof of US citizenship.

The SAVE Act requires proof of citizenship to register and a passport is one of MANY ways to demonstrate that. I've actually read this bill and you CLEARLY HAVE NOT so I'll list them all for you: 1) A REAL ID that explicitly indicates U.S. citizenship 2) A valid U.S. passport 3) Military ID + service record showing U.S. birthplace 4) Government-issued photo ID that indicates U.S. birthplace 5) Government-issued photo ID (without birthplace) + a secondary document like a certified birth certificate 6) Naturalization Certificate or Certificate of Citizenship 7) American Indian Card issued by DHS with "KIC" classification 8) Any other document issued by the federal government as proof of citizenship under the Immigration and Nationality Act

Reminder: if voting requires a $165 passport, that’s a poll tax. We made those unconstitutional in 1964.
