Figure and Hark just took an entire data center of NVIDIA B200 racks, using it to predict physics and train next-gen multimodal models. How come they didnt use TPU or Trainium? Huge potential demand for NVDA that has been overlooked.

@SenWarren Because Social security received = Social security paid. From first principle, why does Social Security only invest in US Treasuries? The real problem is unequal opportunity (in this case to invest in America’s best companies), not unequal taxes or outcomes.

Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos shouldn't be paying the same amount in Social Security tax as someone making $175,000 a year. Billionaires are not paying their fair share.

@RepMariaSalazar Long term pre-dates COVID. Change the dates to 2019 in your bill and it eliminates the mass migration. Then all sounds a bit more reasonable.

Nike is down 75% in 4.5 years. You will rarely see worse with a blue chip company with a long term track record like NKE.

@WallStreetMav Ok - this is complete nonsense. The Medi-Cal budget (state and federal) is just under $200B annually. It is not possible for nearly 75% of that to be fraud. Sure, I could believe 20-30B. Anyway, these stories make fraud finding hard - juxtaposing $146B with $6M is not smart.

A reminder that California’s Medicaid program alone has lost an estimated $146 BILLION to fraud. These people cannot be trusted with another penny. Every dollar you send them is another dollar they will funnel to fraud.
Wall Street Mav@WallStreetMav

Newsom is asking for $126 BILLION more for his train to nowhere. If Democrats get control of the White House in 2028, they will fully fund all of these crazy schemes in California and allow hundreds of billions of $$$ to be looted in the scams.

BREAKING: The President the Islamic regime in Iran releases a letter to America ahead of Trump speech to America on the Iran War tonight: In the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful To the people of the USA, and to all those who, amid a flood of distortions and manufactured narratives, continue to seek the truth and aspire to a better life. (…) Despite its historical and geographical advantages at various times, Iran has never, in its modern history, chosen the path of aggression, expansion, colonialism, or domination. Even after enduring occupation, invasion, and sustained pressure from global powers—and despite possessing military superiority over many of its neighbors—Iran has never initiated a war. Yet it has resolutely and bravely repelled those who have attacked it. The Iranian people harbor no enmity toward other nations, including the people of America, Europe, or neighboring countries. Even in the face of repeated foreign interventions and pressures throughout their proud history, Iranians have consistently drawn a clear distinction between governments and the peoples they govern. This is a deeply rooted principle in Iranian culture and collective consciousness—not a temporary political stance. For this reason, portraying Iran as a threat is neither consistent with historical reality nor with present-day observable facts. Such a perception is the product of political and economic whims of the powerful—the need to manufacture an enemy in order to justify pressure, maintain military dominance, sustain the arms industry, and control strategic markets. In such an environment, if a threat does not exist, it is invented. (…) Relations between Iran and the U.S. were not originally hostile, and early interactions between the Iranian and American people were not marred with hostility or coup d’état—an illegal American 1953 intervention. The turning point, however, was the intervention aimed at preventing the nationalization of Iran’s own resources. That coup disrupted Iran’s democratic process, reinstated dictatorship, and sowed deep distrust among Iranians toward U.S. policies. This distrust deepened further with America’s support for the Shah’s regime, its backing of Saddam Hussein during the imposed war of 1980s, the imposition of the longest and most comprehensive sanctions in modern history, and ultimately, unprovoked military aggression—twice, in the midst of negotiations—against Iran. (…) Is it not also the case that America has entered this aggression as a proxy for Israel, influenced and manipulated by that regime? Is it not true that Israel, by manufacturing an Iranian threat, seeks to divert global attention away from its crimes toward the Palestinians? Is it not evident that Israel now aims to fight Iran to the last American soldier and the last American taxpayer dollar—shifting the burden of its delusions onto Iran, the region, and the US itself in pursuit of illegitimate interests? Is “America First” truly among the priorities of the U.S. government today? (…) Today, the world stands at crossroads. Continuing along the path of confrontation is more costly and futile than ever before. The choice between confrontation and engagement is both real and consequential; its outcome will shape the future for generations to come. Throughout its millennia of proud history, Iran has outlasted many aggressors. All that remains of them are tarnished names in history, while Iran endures—resilient, dignified, and proud

@PattyMurray @atrupar False. Brings Medicaid to pre-COVID expansion levels (which were supposed to be temporary). SNAP does have real cuts but with goal of causing states to pay a greater share and to require work for working aged adults. That would have seemed reasonable at any point in US history.

I don't know how Speaker Johnson can say that with a straight face when the Big Ugly Bill slashed Medicaid, SNAP, and so many other programs working Americans rely on to get by. Their bill was billionaires first and working people last.
Aaron Rupar@atrupar

FOX & FRIENDS: When you hear people say the Big Beautiful Bill only benefitted the rich, what do you say? MIKE JOHNSON: It's exactly the opposite. The Big Beautiful Bill-- the hardworking, the Working Families Tax Cut was written for lower and middle-class earners.

Chinese influencer Li Chi flew from China to California for the sole purpose of experiencing Tesla FSD firsthand. Here are his impressions: “Flew 25,000 km — half the globe — just to personally experience Tesla’s smart driving and compare it with Huawei’s smart driving. I’ll skip the detailed process and go straight to the conclusion: Under normal weather and road conditions, Tesla’s vision-based routing is first-class. (I didn’t get a chance to test in foggy conditions.) In certain scenarios, Tesla outperforms Huawei. For example, when activating smart driving, Tesla can reverse to avoid a vehicle parked on the left, then go around it and rejoin the road ahead — quite impressive. Route selection capability is also top-tier. It doesn’t just follow conventional routes but can take shortcuts through residential roads. Acceleration is crisp and decisive, without hesitation… In short, Tesla FSD is improving very quickly. Physically removing the steering wheel would already present no real obstacles. I hope China will soon allow Tesla FSD to operate domestically, enabling earlier adoption of L3 and encouraging competition with local manufacturers.”

@TheFP Beyond the arrests and murder charge, can the results be proven or are they interpolated estimates? The model leans on identifying high risk folks in community, rather than referrals of patients who are victims of violence already (the real high risk), should question outcomes.

Taxpayers and billionaire philanthropists have spent around $1 billion on “violence interrupter” programs in Chicago over the past decade. The backers include some of the biggest names in politics and business, like Laurene Powell Jobs, the widow of Steve Jobs, and Governor J.B. Pritzker. There’s just a few problems—@Olivia_Reingold found more than two dozen instances of violence interrupters getting arrested, including a murder charge.

The third massive “No Kings” protest wave is hitting America. 3,300+ coordinated events across all 50 states. Organizers claim 9 million+ people in the streets today. Why “No Kings”? It’s simple: “No Thrones. No Crowns. No Kings.” Power belongs to We the People, not any one ruler. This follows the June 2025 wave (~5 million) and October (~7 million). Each one bigger than the last.

So the TSA and SAVE ACT as I see it. I’ve talked to people on both sides: Here’s the issue. It comes down to voter ID. Trump wants a passport as proof of citizenship for an ID. Driver’s license not acceptable. Dems want drivers license for proof. This is the standoff

@BarackObama If states have full skin in the game, they will behave differently. However, Medicaid expansion to other services, in the interest of holistic health, have led states to expand into programs that they have poorly administered (leading to waste, possibly fraud).

The day the Affordable Care Act passed was one of my proudest moments as president, because it meant that millions of Americans would have access to health care, some for the first time. The ACA also prevented insurance companies from denying people with pre-existing conditions coverage, allowed young people under the age of 26 to remain on their parents’ plan, expanded Medicaid, and so much more. But the ACA was always meant to be a first step. We still have to do more to expand access and make health care more affordable for everyone.
