The Silvia episode of Little House on the Prairie is on and if you want to understand why Gen X is the way that it is, understand that we watched a 15-year-old girl get impregnated by a clown on a children's show on national TV. Oh, serious trigger warning.

@SeanTrende I did not get to fly much as a child, but when I did, visiting the cockpit was a must-do. Flight attendants would let you right in, you'd chat up the pilots, and walk away with a pair of plastic wings. Our kids don't believe this happened.

Dropped my son off for an unaccompanied minor flight and they give you a gate pass so parents can take them to the gate. You have to sit and wait until the plane takes off. Nostalgic, because this is how it always was for flights until 9/11. You always sat and saw family off.

@SeanTrende In 1st grade we’d go see this teacher in the library about 1x/week. I forget what she taught As a kid I could be very sensitive to random things, one of which turned out to be this lady’s voice. Id sit down and from there it was literally like being sedated for a surgery 😂

25 years ago this month we lost my mum to breast cancer. My 17 year old self would never have believed that today I would be stood in San Francisco under the Golden Gate Bridge receiving an award on behalf of our team at Paxman Scalp Cooling for the work we have been doing supporting cancer patients and their families in honour of my mum and recognising her legacy. Thank you @HairToStayOrg for your incredible partnership and friendship. You truly make a difference to so many. Was wonderful to see the amazing team at HTS, walk with many supporters and past patients finished off by a plunge in the bay! Photos to follow soon. What a week. If you would have asked me 2 years ago if I was going to be walking in to @UCSFHospitals with Melissa from our main competitor @Dignitana going to visit ‘our’ customers I may have laughed. Outpatient Prospective Payment System (OPPS) Proposed Rule Assigns 2026 Payment Rates for Mechanical Scalp Cooling We have now successfully seen proposed rules in both the OPPS and PFS setting. Although CMS have used historic claims data to establish payment for the first code in the OPPS proposed rule and they have bundled the second codes we are still confident this is a positive step forward. Work will now begin by interested parties including Paxman in helping establish separate payment and more reasonable rates in preparation for the final rule. These rulings are positive landmarks on our journey to fair and equitable reimbursement for scalp cooling. @johnstodder @DrewSav @SeanTrende We would have preferred to eat in a restaurant, but our 17-year-old is profoundly autistic and can’t handle that. Afterward, Sean bathed him and did the toileting tasks, which is our routine. Probably pretty humbling for the entitled snot, so take comfort in that.

@DrewSav What does @seantrende think that much rich food should cost, delivered to his door? “Lobster tails” AND steak? What an entitled snot! Wasn’t Trende semi-respected at one point? Just a lost little hack chasing after Musk’s approval now.
