Nailed it. This is the same mistake people make with almost every intervention. They want a shortcut around the fundamentals… Most people don’t need a new peptide. >They need to go to bed on time. >Eat enough protein. >Train consistently. >Walk more. >Get stronger. >Do that for a few years. Not a few weeks. Peptides can absolutely move the needle in the right situation. But they’re often being asked to solve problems that were created by poor habits in the first place. The guys getting the best results from peptides are usually the same guys who already have their sleep, nutrition, training, and recovery dialed in. Mastering the basics is still undefeated.
Big Dad Energy | BDEX@BigDadEnergyX

Top tier post. While peptides can be great for people, 90% of the users I'd estimate use as a Band-Aid. I fear they're going to become the same quick-fix as most prescriptions, where people don't address the underlying root cause. As with lifting goes, MOST folks don't see results because they don't dial in the basics: - sleep - nutrition (surplus or deficit) - progressive overload with training - cardio They fail within a month and see the bright object, subjecting themselves to Shiny Object Syndrome.

I just put out the invite to my bro @AbudBakri! I’d love for him and I to chop it up on an FOH Live on a Sunday Night. 💥Peptides 💥Hormones 💥Regulatory 💥The Tech Bro’s involvement The Invite is open. A convo that would reverberate across the Allopathic & Bro communities!
Abud Bakri MD@AbudBakri

The amount of messages I’ve received from practicing doctors who are secretly are using ‘peptides’ is staggering They don’t want their peers to know it for fear of being seen as cooky This will all change quickly

I truly think the 8 hours of sleep thing is nonsense I've been getting about 4 hours a sleep a night for over 15 years and I have no issues with recovery, being motivated, or progressing with my lifts Maybe everyone is different but I think it's way over blown I think your body will let you know if you need to sleep more or not What say you, Sleep connoisseurs?

@bowtiedmeathead I'm probably on the longer rest side of heavy compounds and lower on isolation. Just so I can catch my breath

One of the biggest mistakes I see many people at the gym make is rushing their rest periods. They finish a hard set…glance at their phone…wait 60 seconds and then jump right back in. The problem is your muscles, energy systems and nervous system may not be ready yet. Research has consistently shown that longer rest periods often lead to better strength and muscle gains because you’re able to maintain performance from set to set… >More weight. >More reps. >More quality volume. For most people…a good starting point is: >3–5 minutes for heavy compound lifts >1–3 minutes for isolation work That doesn’t mean longer is always better. At some point…the extra recovery doesn’t add much. But if your reps are falling off dramatically from set to set…you’re probably not resting long enough. Remember…the goal isn’t to make the workout feel harder. The goal is to perform at a high level for as many quality sets as possible.

Missed out on the 400K but still showing strong YoY growth. Super excited for the rest of the year to come. The inventory I’m holding is significantly higher than my inventory at Amazon. One employee. No prep center. No Va’s. No AI. Just one idiot playing this video game we call selling on Amazon.

Speaking of ROI, I’m thinking about buying some Llamas 🦙 and adding some “Hike with the Llamas” to my retreat center. On site, 700 private acres, miles and miles of hiking trails…with a Llama. Think it’d be a hit?

This is a fantasy. The most unathletic guys become Joe Rogan lite with the martial arts, kettlebells, and obsession with being an athlete. The good athletes often realize the levels to it and close that chapter of life to get into other things that will better serve them, like lifting.

On old twitter this man would have 30k followers by now. Underrated and under appreciated. Whether you sell product for profit or just like to collect it’s worth your attention span to add him to your feed.
The Toy Investor@thetoyinvestor

Nice to be well past the 7-figure revenue mark a full month before the second half of the year. About 24,700 units sold so far across all platforms. Pacing for much more than last year's 63,210 units, especially since I will be onboarding my first full-time employee at the new warehouse in the coming months which will significantly increase output. My favorite metric to pay attention to is profit per unit, I have found this is THE metric for my business over anything else. My previous goal was to NET $8-$10 profit per unit on about 50,000-60,000 items sold per year. That is pretty much on lock now, and my new stretch goal with the warehouse and employee is to climb somewhere into the $10-$14 net profit per unit on 80,000-100,000 units per year. That won't happen this year, but it's definitely on the table for 2027 or 2028. Profit per unit is steadily increasing due to increased product knowledge (better buys and better timing of when to sell), increased emphasis on larger products but accepting lower ROI, and being able to slightly increase hold time for my unicorns. Average GROSS profit per sale on Amazon is currently about $10.28. Average GROSS profit per sale on Walmart is currently about $14.84. I am selling about 3x more units on Amazon than Walmart. Significant improvement over last year, and I have a LOT of high dollar profit investments stored away and incoming over the next several months. Average profit per unit is going to increase nicely going into Q4 looking at the gold I am currently hoarding. 6 months away from peak season ladies and gentlemen, stay the course!

@bowtiedmeathead I agree with this. I've been squatting for nearly 30 years and have never had a single knee problem. I actually feel a lot more pressure on my knees during hack squats. BB squats feel completely natural to my body, but they are taxing overall so I do them less frequently now

When it comes to building a strong foundation, nothing rivals the barbell squat. Every beginner and intermediate lifter should build their strength base using them as their core movement for leg day. As they advance you can substitute them for alternative lifts like split squats, hacks, leg presses, extensions, etc… I’ve seen guys who get into lifting later in life and it’s obvious they skipped building a strong foundation with barbell squats. They are always nursing a bad knee, have weak glutes and maxing out 2 plates on each side of the leg press machine. While I don’t think advanced lifters need to squat regularly, they should be mandatory for those starting out.
Dorian B@DorianB112

Let’s be honest, are barbell squats really the top(king) of leg training or are people just afraid to admit there other good options?

It's pretty crazy the level of scrutiny people get for investing in collectibles. Especially when the entire billion dollar collectible industry exists BECAUSE of third party sellers and aftermarket deals. A lot of bitter people see it happening in front of them and instead of deciding to use their knowledge to take action and improve their financial situation, they'd rather get on social media with their pitchforks as if avoiding selling things online makes them honorable or something.

Well drilling is a GREAT business and not a lot of expert competition in many areas. Usually it’s a passed down from generation to generation type business. Not many start from scratch. Take a listen to this video of the owner & me discussing costs incurred just for ONE truck.

Why this millionaire never sells his best assets… I interviewed Steve Houghton in Dallas, and I asked him: -How he got into the oil and gas business. -His secret to being able to scale his businesses to make millions of dollars a year. Lastly, I asked him for his best advice to the younger generation.
