I think there's a huge lane for an airline that offers bigger seats and more legroom with no first class and no economy. Enough fewer people to ensure overhead bin space, too. I'd pay for that. I think others would, as well.

@hunterbaker I think airline execs who have studied this issue and who generally know the business have considered this but determined that, no, people just book based on lowest price.

@hunterbaker @davidpdeavel Not buying that one Mr. Baker but I will say that there was no better entertainment than the Meadowlark Lemon, Curly Neal led Globetrotters. Was lucky enough to see them twice as a kid.

Our dads took me and my neighbor to watch the Globetrotters in about 1979 at Notre Dame. Incredible thrill to watch Curly, Sweet Lou, and the gang.

I will never understand the return of large, thick eyeglass frames as a fashion. I spent years trying to escape them. What's next: starched collars? Spats? Zoot suits? Top hats? Pocket protectors? Powdered wigs?

I have no idea what Prince William really thinks about religion. I have a question, though, for friends who are knowledgeable about the Church of England. If the monarch is an unbeliever (or not a believing Christian or not an Anglican) can he or she nevertheless serve as Supreme Governor of the Church of England?
