@Dev_Fadnavis @CMOMaharashtra Kindly make #Maharashtra’s Official State Language #Marathi, which has now been selected into Classic Language category, as Mandatory in all school boards #ICSE #CBSE #IB etc operating their businesses in #Mumbai and rest of the state. The state language shouldn’t be made Optional in these Delhi and International boards under the pretext that there are students who come from other states . Schools, college students and working professionals who come to Mumbai from other states to earn livelihoods disrespectfully say they don’t know #Marathi & it’s not required to reside #Mumbai as it is Cosmopolitan city . They address Mumbai as Bombay which signifies disrespect to the city . If we go to English speaking countries or France/Germany among others we speak their respective languages. Therefore, there is nothing wrong with it . If foreigners can learn Marathi then Indian students and working professionals too can do it because they are learning French/German and other foreign languages in these boards which charges them exorbitant fees. People should learn #Marathi out of love and respect for the financial capital and state (which has rich history of #ChhatrapatiShivajiMaharaj, saints and Freedom Fighters) through which they are earning their livelihoods . Let’s not make it a Political issue. Hooliganism or physical attacks on an individual is not a solution .

संस्कृत बहुत पवित्र और महान भाषा है। ब्राह्मणों को संस्कृत पढ़ने दें । SC-ST-OBC समाज के लोग अपने बच्चों को अंग्रेजी स्कूल में पढ़ायें।
