@JoshKale Lmao Tesla is great but take off the blinders. This is a great deal. Competition is a good thing as evidenced by the 3/Y’s stagnating range and charging speeds. This is objectively good for Rivian. BTW Cybercab is 5-6 miles/kw not 8.

Nobody understands how much of a disaster this Rivian <> Uber deal is Rivian lost $3.6 billion last year on 42k deliveries. That's $86,000 of value destruction PER VEHICLE that left their factory. Their solution? Partner with Uber to turn a $58K camping SUV into a robotaxi... to compete with Tesla's Cybercab... YIKES Every 12-18 months, this company finds a new partner to write a check: - Amazon: $1.3B equity + 100K van order - VW: $5.8B joint venture - US DOE: $6.6B loan - Uber: $1.25B robotaxi deal (today) The moment they announced the Uber deal, they admitted they're pushing back profitability AGAIN to fund an autonomy program that can't even handle stoplights. Tesla's Cybercab is purpose built at $25,000 with no steering wheel. The cost per mile math isn't even close. The Uber deal is to deploy 50,000 robotaxis by 2031. Slight problem: The car doesn't exist yet. The factory doesn't exist yet. The autonomy software doesn't exist. Manufacturing is HARD. good luck have fun

@BlessedMom_7 @happyathome44 @Rothmus @elonmusk There is no indoctrination happening in the education system. You’re just brainwashed to believe that there is. Yes, the majority of educators are liberal because they’re not fucking morons.

What a stupid reply. Considering I have a college degree as a pharmacist, what is your degree in? How old are you? The irony of you bringing up propaganda, which is what the liberal educators keep trying to indoctrinate in our children! Luckily, my children are also well educated. They never fell for their liberal professors, elementary school teachers or high school teachers trying to brainwash them. No teacher has a right to spew their political beliefs, opinions or try to indoctrinate our children. And, if the roles were reversed where there were more Republican educators spewing their propaganda upon your children, I believe you'd be having a conniption. My sister is an elementary school teacher, who's a Republican. She has NEVER, or ever would, try to indoctrinate her students based on her opinions or political beliefs. Do you not understand the job of educators in our school system? 🤡

@oi8achevy @NotATeslaApp @rhensing @elonmusk @aelluswamy Trust me it’s just as shit in the cities. I grew up in rural KS and have experience with FSD in KC and when going to visit my parents. The only solution I can see is to stop using OSM and to cut a deal with Google or Apple.

If we don’t get map errors fixed prior, many of us outside the populous bubbles will still have crippled robots. No version of robot is going to compensate when a high speed road is defaulted by the map data to 25mph or some lower value. It’s a very messy problem to fix. They literally need to send people back out and validate every mile of every roads speed limits. Rural USA doesn’t have much for physical speed limit signage so there’s no other solution but to have accurate map data.

@niccruzpatane German cars are adapted for German conditions including the autobahn, that is why they feel so much better and safer at 200+ kmh than French or US cars, at this speed (which is common in Germany) EV range is dramatically lower, probably not even 300 km for the iX3.

Unless you’re driving 500+ miles per day, you don’t need an EV with that much range. The average person drives around 37 miles per day. Current Tesla offerings provide way more than enough for the vast majority of people. On road trips, I can usually only drive about two hours before I need to get out, stretch my legs, etc. During that time, my car charges. It’s not the inconvenience people think it is. It doesn’t make sense to lug around a huge battery when most people don’t actually use that capacity.

@niccruzpatane Copium. People want range and we all know that 330 mile range becomes 250 or less real quick unless you’re driving 72mph or below in perfect temps. It’s annoying to stop for 10 mins every 120 miles. Tesla has fallen behind in range and charging speed.

@Bizzzzzzzzzzzi @Coinvo Lmao when have you experienced failure? I’ve had the same TV for 7 years. My MacBook from 2015 works fine. My phone that I use for multiple hours/day for 3 years has never had an issue. My monitor that I work on 40 hours/week for 6 years has no issues. Screen failure is rare.

@niccruzpatane The range and charging is eating Tesla’s lunch. It’s embarrassing that the best they can do on the MY is 357 miles and 250kw. Tesla is stagnating while they should be at the forefront.

When Trump leaves office: The Department of War will go back to being the Defense Department. The Trump Kennedy Center will go back to being the Kennedy Center. The Gulf of America will once again be the Gulf of Mexico. The unfinished East Wing (it won't be finished by the end of Trump's term) will be rebuilt by the next president, and it will not be a ballroom. Federal agencies packed with unqualified loyalists will fire those people and rehire the career experts Trump fired. The Department of Justice will go back to enforcing the law instead of protecting the president. Scientific agencies like NOAA, the EPA, and the CDC will go back to publishing research without political interference. The U.S. will re-align with its allies and not with its enemies. The presidential pardon power will stop being used as a rewards program for loyalists. Inspectors General will go back to investigating corruption instead of getting fired for it. The White House press room will go back to having briefings, with real journalists and not podcasters. U.S. foreign policy will stop revolving around flattering dictators. And the world will progress as though Donald Trump never existed.

'TERRIFYING': Dashcam video shows the moment a Tesla Cybertruck, allegedly operating in self-driving mode, nearly sent a Houston mom and her infant off a bridge before violently crashing into an overpass barrier. The woman claims she suffered multiple injuries from the incident and is now suing the automaker for $1 million.

@noodlebrett @hackagibson @FoxNews FSD-S is statistically safer than humans with 1 crash every 6 million miles vs. 1 crash every 700k miles for U.S. drivers. These are not FSD-U (unsupervised) statistics. The data shows that FSD-Supervised significantly reduces crashes. You don’t have to believe it but it’s true.

How are you going to determine absent Trump, who are MAGAts and who are not? Honestly, the issue with the constitution and the electoral law is a far bigger issue than a handful of obese trailer park residents who are easily manipulated. The ability to be elected President regardless of criminal history, the limitless amount of money that can be spent to buy a President and the indirect electoral system (State based electors) These things not changing, there is nothing in the way of Americans electing a Trump 3, 4 and 5 and something even worse. Until then, I can only see the USA on a rapid path to isolation, void of trust by anyone
