GAVIN NEWSOM: HIS INCOMPETENCE, EGO, ARROGANCE, AND "THE" PARTNER Anyone suffering the misfortune living in California under @GavinNewsom, the worst governor in California history, knows Newsom suffers with a penchant to editing out facts, distort truths, avoid accountability, and is disturbingly fixated with strong and intelligent males. In October 2025, during the “All the Smoke” podcast, Newsome said, he “raised himself.” This, according to Newsom, was his life following his parent’s divorce. He described that period in his life as a “hustle" adding, “I was there kind of raising myself, turning on the TV, just getting obsessed. I was sitting there with the Wonder bread [and] macaroni and cheese". He has said his mother worked as a waitress, a secretary, and a paralegal to support both him and his sister. Unfortunately, for Newsom, his “story” became the subject of ridicule. Newsom failed to mention that his father, William Newsom, was a lifelong close friend, legal adviser, and trusted confidant to the Getty family, and specifically to oil heir Gordon Getty. As a lawyer and appeals court judge, William Newsom managed the Getty family trust and served as a key adviser. The relationship between Gavin’s father and Gordon Getty was deeply personal and stemmed from a deep, multi-generational friendship between Gordon Getty and Gavin’s father, William Alfred Newsom III, who were schoolmates and maintained a close, lifelong bond. It was Gordon Getty who provided financial backing that enabled Gavin to launch his first business venture, a wine shop named, PlumpJack. That business opened in 1992 and today, PlumpJack Group, remains an active business and a prominent hospitality and wine enterprise. During the podcast, Gavin also omitted that Gordon Getty, an oil heir and composer, viewed Gavin as a son and treated him like a member of his family. In a 2004 New Yorker profile, Gordon Getty directly stated, "I think of Gavin as a son," adding that he treated Newsom similarly to how he was treated by Newsom’s own father. Gavin also omitted that after his parents divorced, Gavin was informally adopted by the Getty family, with Gordon and his wife, Ann, bringing him into their social circle. And he again omitted that he was treated like an additional son alongside Gordon’s own sons, frequently participating in luxurious family activities, which led acquaintances to refer to them collectively as "the Getty boys". Gordon Getty, was also the primary investor in most of Newsom’s early business ventures and helped Newsom become a millionaire before entering politics. Gavin is a child of privilege. He never grew up like any minority or for that matter, any poor White kid. Is this why he can’t seem to relate to the challenges of hardworking Californians who aren’t multi-millionaires? Like Godzilla laying waste to Tokyo, Newson single-handedly destroyed San Francisco, Oakland, and his negligence-whether intentional or not, created the dynamic which led to the burning down of Pacific Palisades and a part of Altadena. And it his administration’s lackadaisical attitude that refuses to respond to pleas by victims of the fires he enabled, to obtain permits to rebuild their homes. At the end of any day, Newsom is the king he wants you to believe President Trump is. And only the ignorant in our nation, buy into his bogus and contrived accusations and excuses. CALIFORNIA’S PANDEMIC FIASCO It was Gavin Newsom who to quote Joe Rogan, implemented “Draconian” mandates that were not only brutal but tyrannically enforced. Newsom chose to rely on alleged medical advise doled out by disgraced, Dr. Anthony Fauci. Newsom and the hypocritical Democrats, screamed "racism" and viciously criticized and persecuted anyone who referred to COVID-19, as “the Chinse virus.” The fact is, the virus was man-engineered in a laboratory in Wuhan, China. So inspite of their protests, it is indeed the Chinese virus. Newsom’s mandates threatened the prosecution of people who refused to wear useless mouth covers in public. Even the diabolical Dr. Fauci admitted in an email that the masks were incapable of stopping the transmission of viruses. Because of Newsom, some Californians lost their employment including medical personnel. The terminally ill who were hospitalized, often died alone without the company of their loved ones. Newsom also created a social schism which pitted the poorly informed and ignorant by choice, vaccinated against the unvaccinated. Newsom, like @BarackObama, proved he too is a “Great Divider.” HOMELESSNESS Back in the days when he was governor of now ruined San Francisco, Newsom boasted that he would end homelessness in California and even mocked Republican mayors and governors who preceded him, for failing to do so. Since 2019, the year Newsom began his first term as governor, homelessness in California, has grown in the tens of thousands. And in 2025 and again in 2026, Newsom has refused to provide records, including audits that would prove how the $24 billion was spent and why his administration failed to achieve it stated goals. A MYRIAD OF ISSUES But there are many more debacles and scandals caused by Newsom that have contributed to the destabilization of California. Fraud & Waste Allegations in California Social Programs (2025–2026) Nick Shirley’s Fraud Investigations Independent journalist Nick Shirley released videos and statements obtained during his investigation of fraud perpetrated in California and which has robbed millions of dollars from state taxpayers. Shirely alleges that to dater, over $170 million have been stolen through fraud across California by bogus daycare centers, hospices, and adult care facilities receiving state approved funds. Shirly reported that operators of California daycare centers billed the state for services never provided. He also reported that many of these fraudsters live in luxury while defrauding California taxpayers. Shirley’s video, “I Exposed California’s Billion Dollar Fraud Crisis” also went viral and has gotten national attention. Newsom's Controversial and Childish Response Predictably, Newsom's press office which is saturated with amoral troglodytes posted an AI-generated meme of Shirley, implying he is a child predator. Newsom was apparently too glib, too arrogant, and too self-deluded to consider that his inane meme might actually incite public backlash. Newsom, historically, suffers witht he inability to understand that there are consequences to his actions. Sen. John Fetterman (D‑PA) publicly condemned Newsom’s office for the “disgusting smear.” The Independent also reported on the backlash to the meme which depicts Shirley “leering” in a kindergarten room doorway. The message inferred in the image published by Newsom’s office of a man with cameras in a daycare asking, “Hey, can I see your kids?” is inarguably clear. Shirley reasonably responded, informing the governor that he is exposing rampant state fraud and in response, Newsom's administration retaliated, trying to make Shirley “look like the bad guy.” What's most interesting and speaks to the morals and ethics of the governor, his administration, and his press office is that none of them refuted the fraud allegations but instead, chose to attack the journalist who exposed the alleged crimes, by libeling and slandering him. Benny Johnson: Newsom's Press Office Slur (2026) Conservative journalist Benny Johnson alleged that Newsom is “terrified” by the many fraud investigations being performed by non-mainstream media investigators and the federal government. Evidently, Johnson struck another of Newsom's many exposed nerves. The unstable staff at the governor's press office posted a response that used a Grindr‑related (a gay “dating” and hook-up app) attempted insult, implying that Johnson and his team use the gay app. The public responded, calling the post a "homophobic slur" and inappropriate use of an official government communication channel. There is something almost schitzophrenic about how the choices the governor and his team choose to respond. Of coure, this provoked yet another public backlash with many calling the governor’s post a “homophobic slur” and inappropriate use of an official government communication channel. There is something seemingly schizophrenic about how the governor and his office choose to respond when exposed or implicated in alleged criminal acts. As many know, Newsom is an impassioned supporter of the LBGTQ+ “community” yet they leveled a juvenile insult at Johnson and his team, inferring they are homosexual. Does this mean that Newsom and his paid staff view homosexuality as something people should be ashamed of? It is certainly an odd strategy by a man who has boasted of presiding over same-sex weddings and has attending gay parades and celebrations. This is the same governor who tooks steps to protect and expand access to gender-affirming care for minors, including puberty blockers and hormones. He signed legislation making California a "refuge state" (SB 107) for families seeking these treatments, protecting them from out-of-state legal actions. Johnson appropriately responded and accused Newsom of smearing journalists who expose his administration of alleged involvement in criminal behaviors instead of addressing the substance of those allegations and in California, the alleged far-flung incidence of fraud perpetrated by so-called businesses who are allocated taxpayer dollars to run their fake enterprises. Maybe Newsom, an admitted adulterer, should avoid leveling sarcastic replies that allude to anything related to sex or sexuality. LETTING THE CAT OUT OF THE BAG The public is now aware that when implicated in alleged criminal enterprises, Newsom, his administration, and his press office, respond by mocking investigators rather than addressing the fraud being perpetrated through state‑funded programs. What the implications of widespread fraud are exposing is the broader narrative of mismanagement and lack of oversight being committed in California. Shirley’s investigation exposed: California daycare centers received millions in taxpayer dollars from the state of California under Newsom. Shirley released several videos including some showing inactive and non-existent businesses pretending to provide daycare services. Shirly has also exposed that adult daycares billed California up to $19 million, each. And he has compiled evidence allegding that daycare center fraud in California exceeds $170 million. But it is the responses by the governor, his administration, and his press office that are most telling. Instead of affirming that he will order investigations conducted, Newsom has responded using "mean girl" tactics and made a spectacle of the fact that California is grossly mismanaged. CONTROVERSIES and SCANDALS COVID‑19 French Laundry Incident (2020) Newsom attended a lobbyist’s birthday dinner at the upscale French Laundry restaurant while urging Californians to avoid gatherings. EDD Unemployment Fraud Scandal (2020–2021) California’s Employment Development Department paid out tens of billions in fraudulent unemployment claims during the pandemic. Wildfire & PG&E Oversight Criticism Newsom faced criticism for close ties to PG&E and alleged failures in wildfire prevention oversight. Homelessness Spending Scrutiny California’s homelessness crisis worsened despite billions in spending, leading to accusations of mismanagement. The Pacific Palisades and Altadena Fires The governor’s go-to excuse for the causes of fires that ravager California annually, is "climate change." His excuse is tantamount to “The dog ate my homework.” But in spite of visting Brazil in 2025 and talking to the point of ad nauseum about how California is an environmental magnat for all things "climate change," Newsom's excuse has been challenged recently by testimony provided during a February 2026, deposition. During the deposition, a 23-year veteran of the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) testified that just before the Pacific Palisades fires started, he identified burning embers and smoldering hot spots at the site of the Lachman Fire (which preceded the Pacific Palisades fire) but was told by his supervisor, to leave the embers alone. Here are details from his testimony: The Witness: Scott Pike, a 23-year LAFD firefighter veteran, testified in a lawsuit brought by victims of the Palisades fire against the city and state. The Findings: On January 2, 2026, while on a hose-pickup assignment, Pike reported seeing at least five areas still smoking and extremely hot, including red-hot coals at the base of bushes. He noted that the ground was so hot he could not touch it with his gloved hand. The Directive: Pike stated he reported these hot spots to a captain and other firefighters but felt his concerns were "dismissed" and was ordered to leave the site anyway. The Result: The smoldering embers, which were not fully extinguished, later reignited due to high winds and grew into the devastating Pacific Palisades blaze. Official Response: Following this testimony, LA Mayor Karen Bass ordered a full independent investigation into the LAFD's handling of the fire. "Bad Idea" Abandonment: The testimony indicates that crews were ordered to abandon the smoldering site, which members on the ground believed was a "bad idea". Transformer Cause: While the testimony heavily focuses on the failed mop-up of the initial fire, another lawsuit, referenced in reporting, mentioned that attorneys for victims believe power lines fell during high winds, potentially igniting a separate part of the fire, or a second fire shortly after the initial blaze. NEWSOM'S SCANDAL EMBROILED PARTNER Following the devastating Los Angeles fires, celebrities convened and held a FIREAID CONCERT to support victims of the fires that destroyed Pacific Palisades and parts of Altadena. The concert took place on January 30, 2025, and concurrently at the Intuit Dome and the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California. What FireAid did: The FireAid concerts in Los Angeles reportedly raised around $100 million for wildfire relief. Subsequent reporting has shown that much of the money went to nonprofits, not directly to individual fire victims, and that some of those nonprofits had high executive salaries or broad missions not tightly focused on direct relief. FireAid funds went to nonprofits and there have been numerous allegations, that some of these found their way to Mrs. Newsom's non-profits, rather than these being disbursed directly to victims. Many of the non-profits and recipients of these monies, have been criticized for high overhead or vague missions. But this isn't the first time, Mrs. Newsom has found herself the subject of scrutiny. She is famous or infamos, depending on who you speak to, for testifying at the trial of Harvey Weinstein during which she alleged she had been raped by Weinstein. Early to mid-2000’s 2005 (Siebel Newsom’s account): Before marrying Gavin News, Jennifer Siebel said she met Harvey Weinstein at the Toronto International Film Festival. At the time, she was an actress and documentary filmmaker who said she believed Weinstein was a "kingmaker" in the entertainment industry and who she believed could help her acting and producing career. She later testified that he invited her to a hotel room in Beverly Hills under the pretense of a business meeting and then raped her. Post‑assault period (Siebel’s description): She has said she tried to “normalize” the experience and continued to navigate Hollywood professionally. 2017: Weinstein scandal breaks publicly October 2017: The New York Times and The New Yorker publish major exposés on Weinstein’s long history of alleged sexual harassment and assault. This triggers the broader #MeToo movement. Around this period, multiple women—including Rose McGowan began speaking publicly about Weinstein. Rose McGowan’s allegation about Siebel Newsom Rose McGowan has said that around six months before she went public with her allegations against Weinstein (which she did in 2017), she was contacted by Jennifer Siebel Newsom. McGowan’s description of the call: McGowan says Siebel Newsom reached out on behalf of Weinstein’s lawyer and asked what it would take for McGowan to be “made whole” or to not go forward with her accusations against Weinstein. Mrs. Newsom denied trying to silence McGowan and that she contacted McGowan because she was concerned for McGowan and other women in the industry. Los Angeles trial (2022): During Weinstein’s Los Angeles criminal trial, Jennifer Siebel Newsom testified, under oath, that Weinstein raped her in 2005 in a Beverly Hills hotel room. She was one of several “Jane Does” in the case. She described feeling pressured, trapped, and fearful of the career consequences of rejecting him. Her testimony was part of the prosecution’s pattern‑of‑behavior case against Weinstein. Weinstein was convicted on some counts in Los Angeles (involving another accuser) and acquitted or had a mistrial on others; Siebel Newsom’s allegation did not result in a specific conviction count, but it was part of the broader narrative of his conduct. Despite being wealthy and the friend of elites, there is something crass and vulgar about Gavin Newsom. His responses and that of his press office to allegations of real crimes, were intended to destroy the reputations of the people exposing the alleged crimes. But the replies also speak volumes about the character of Newsom and those he chooses to surround himself with. They also imply an attempt to hide criminal behavior but the only reason a person would do this is, if they were complicit in the crimes being exposed.
