@simongerman600 Pretty much. Lots of local cuisine sucks major in blue areas. With some exceptions. Young people in red areas will generally prefer their traditional food to fast food. Let that sink in.

The nuclear material the Iranian foreign minister talked about publicly that was less than 2 weeks of processing away from being enriched enough for a bomb. They have made no effort to hide the fact that they’ve been enriching weapons grade uranium. It’s been a bargaining chip they’ve been trying to use for a while now.

It’s a network Russian and China only could dream about. To rip this out and relocate it would be stupidly complex and costly. I don’t see that happening

Not only would they need to meet those numbers, they would need much more. R&D and propping up much higher production is $$$

@rrbelloff @kevinissure @WW3finalboss The US spending in Europe is to maintain their own bases and troops. Nothing actually goes to European powers. You keep those bases primarily for logistics. You don’t defend anyone, it’s to keep your position as sole super power.

Geopolitics and threats have evolved since the Cold War ended. We face a threat from China, focusing on a Pacific alliance makes sense. NATO was created to protect Europe from the Soviets after WWII. They've had 80 years to get their militaries in order (but haven't).
