You don’t understand men at all. Or your experience is limited to a pretty sad subset of men. Men don’t like or want duty sex. If they don’t get to have sex in marriage they would prefer to get out of the relationship. But modern laws and social rules requires or forces men to stay in sexless relationships, or penalizes men heavily for leaving.

Maybe this is a male/female difference but I think women have no interest in it if he’s only doing it out of “duty”: she doesn’t want you to talk to her, spend time with her, buy gifts or do anything else out of duty. But men want that duty sex whether she’s into it or not. Ick

To make thousands an hour I imagine someone has to be able to fake love and thoughtfulness well, be extraordinarily attractive and sexually skillful, or be into some sort of sexual kink that some guy cannot get anywhere else. Why any man would pay that for any prostitute is beyond me. Pretty sad. Exploitative. But technically the average cost per sexual encounter during many marriages may well be thousands or tens of thousands per hour, which would often not feature much effort (except at the target seduction stage) to please the husband, and potentially come with a lot of abuse.

I can see why being a high-end prostitute is appealing. Women get paid thousands an hour and taken on trips to places like New York and Paris, and taken out to fancy restaurants, and given expensive gifts. And she never has to do any housework/childcare for him. Amazing.

@wil_da_beast630 That’s literally what it is. It evolved to motivate you to reproduce. After you’ve done so, or if you don’t want to, it’s unnecessary.

I strongly recommend not marrying someone who thinks that "wanting/expecting sex with your mate" is a "base physical urge." Large chunks of our society have moved unhealthily far away from natural reality, and believe in a paper world that does not actually exist.
Diane Yap@RealDianeYap

Husbands, women don't care about sex for the sake of sex. Your wife wants someone to connect with, someone who affirms her, sees her, accepts her. Someone she feels close to. Stop telling her she owes you duty sex. Stop making your base physical urges her problem.

@RealDianeYap There is a better food analogy solution to people not having enough sex.

If you’re hungry enough, you’ll eat celery. This is why, when a husband pesters his wife for sex, I think she should allow him to have sex with men: “If you need sex that bad, you’ll have sex with another man.”

@leechcheng @VerminusM The more time that I have spent on this app after 10/7/23, the more greatful I am that the Irish Catholic part of my ancestry not only emigrated to America, but also left the eastern cities and went West building the railroads, ending up in Oklahoma and intermarrying with others

Do you think the reason the Irish are so salty about Israel is because unlike the Irish, the Israelis actually managed to get all their land from the British?

Let’s flip the scenario for a moment. Imagine Iran killed Trump in the first 5 minutes of the war, established air superiority over the US mainland, wiped out the entire US Air Force, US Navy, killed half the Cabinet, flattened the US military industrial complex, then started building runways in Missouri to land Iranian troops without losing any casualties. Would you say it was a US victory if the US managed to keep the Panama Canal closed throughout this all?
Sami Gold@souljagoyteller

The fact that America’s goals went from “the complete destruction of Iran’s military power or even regime change” to “reopen a trade route that was open a month ago” doesn’t say great things about American power

Johnny Cash in San Quentin: "I shot a man in Reno just to watch him die." Jennifer Newsom in San Quentin: "I ran over my sister in a golf cart but it was an accident."
MAZE@mazemoore

Gavin Newsom's wife recalls telling prisoners at San Quentin about running over and killing her sister with a golf cart. She said that she wasn't punished because it was an accident but that the prisoners are doing life even though theirs was "probably an accident too."

All the time and I'm happy for them. I'm a good training girlfriend because I'm a soul-destroying ball-buster who gets him competent at everything you might need or want: cooking, cleaning, planning great outings and trips, learning to enjoy whatever you enjoy. Or maybe it's losing me that gets him to wake up and perform well for the next person.

Setting aside whether her childhood accident was an unconscious act for the moment, her astonishing theory that most of the rapists, murderers, and child molesters in prison acted “accidentally” is mind-boggling. More importantly it is a powerful lesson about the liberal mind. We can now be assured that this opportunistic little piece of work, like so many of her ilk, will invariably weep for the criminal, but consider his victims, if she indeed considers them at all, as collateral damage. One thing is clear: she’s an even more dreadful monster than her vile, dangerous, deranged husband.
