Matt, if the Israeli government took no action at all to protect those sites, and Iran struck them on Palm Sunday in a massive missile barrage and killed hundreds of praying Christians, you'd be among the first to criticize them for not taking precautions to protect the sites and the people. Get real.

If Israel is going to block Christians from entering holy sites in Jerusalem on Palm Sunday while the U.S. is fighting a war where Israel is far and away the greatest beneficiary, then perhaps the United States should be in charge of access to the holy sites.
