The norms of #LinkedIn are changing.... and people seem to have wildly differing opinions about it. More and more, the platform's users are getting real and sharing vulnerable stories with each other. What at your thoughts? washingtonpost.com/technology/202…

Try not to be consumed by #UserEngagement - instead, dare to transcend it. #DigitalMarketers are trained to worry over #engagement rates & other KPIs. What if we focused our energy on creating the most captivating #BrandNarrative possible? Let #creativity lead. @waronweakness!

Don't focus on building an audience. Ignore your engagement. Don't worry if this post is going to hurt your brand. Instead, imagine, create and build a universe that's so unique, so fun, so enthralling that people won't want to leave.

@Pam_Rubin1 Love this, @Pam_Rubin1. Communication is everything. Equipping teams with as much information as possible is critical to making any transition run smoothly. Rumors start when leaders don't do this.

@NFT_GOD Great resource. Users on this platform 100% deserve stronger transparency about what these rules *actually* mean and how they affect the content we see. User-created algorithms are an awesome idea.

Feel like your engagement dropped? You probably have broken one of these rules Here is every label you can get for breaking "Public Interest" rules These are meant to protect users from harmful and misleading content The rules include: • Violence • Misinformation on voting • Mob harassment • Exposure of public information • Scams (no wonder crypto X is suffering) Few questions: 1. Who decides what "misinformation" is? 2. Why do some popular meme accounts get away with posting gratuitous violence? 3. I've seen several accounts get their personal information exposed with 0 recourse. How do they get away with it? It seems no matter how many times I mute disturbing fight videos on the timeline, every couple weeks another one pops up Anyone else feel this way? I'd love to have more controls over my own custom algorithm where I can choose topics to see or not to see Elon talked about user created algorithms in the past, seeing this come to fruition would be revolutionary End of the day, if you don't want to get flagged it comes down to this: don't be an a**hole and don't get too spicy with your hot button takes. Any of these rules you'd change?

The best brands draw from #HumanEmpathy and #creativity. So, when creating a #brand, whose experiences are better to draw from than your own? Try to recall your own feelings, attitudes, and ideas, and then infuse these things into your brand strategy. It works! #BrandBuilding

You can't build a kickass personal brand without learning: • Sales • Branding • Marketing • Copywriting • Human Psyche • Community Building Your brand is a manifestation of yourself. The more you grow as a person the better your brand will become.
