Is @couriermedia magazine still being published? I just looked for a new issue and the last one available was Oct last year. And subscription page is empty. It’ll be a shame if the magazine is no more.

I’ve not watched an @EnglandRugby match live for years - partly don’t have time, partly because I don’t have a TV. But today I am. And I’m really, really sorry to all the England fans of I’ve somehow jinxed the team. This #6nations2023 game is horrible 😞

@sjmbell @BBC Agreed. And actually as any organisation has to understand, employees are not ‘owned’ 24/7. They’re allowed to have opinions that the boss (appointed by Boris Johnson, for example) might not agree with.

@simon_freeman @BBC I think you’ve found the crux of the problem.. that one pager titled “who we are” has fallen behind a printer or something. Let’s hope they dig it out.

Whatever happens next the #BBC are going to be a crisis comms case study. It’s weirdly fascinating to work on this sort of moment - there is obviously one very clear action to take but how you get there is threading the PR needle. Whilst someone kicks you in the shins.

Anyone who has been on an @easyJet flight knows that there are usually problems with too much cabin baggage. Guess what happened when I called today to swap my large cabin bag for a hold bag (and pay the difference) - yep, policy says “no”. So I’ll turn up for my flight …
