I don't think it matters if Kansas is a "better job" than anywhere. Other places have more/same money as KU. Other places are in better locations. Other places have great coaches. But KU has the aura factor in spades. Only 8 coaches ever! That means something to these coaches.

@alec_busse The more impact absorption, the better the floor. So long as the ball rebounds as expected, you want to take stress off players' joints when landing.

Perhaps you can or can’t see the Big 12’s glass floor give in this video. But to the eye in person you can see it give on some jumps and landings. To me, it also feels unique. To the touch you can feel a texture of the court.

Another thing I noticed with the new glass court at the Big 12 Tournament... look at the stark difference in color/saturation between this year (left) and last year (right). At least last the traditional court popped and had a nice shine to it. The glass court is dull with muted colors.
