Speaker Johnson could shock the nation. Take up the Dignity Act: bipartisan legislation to secure the border, fix the visa & asylum systems, and provide legal certainty with fair conditions for DREAMers & others w/o documentation. It would pass, and rewrite the toxic politics of immigration.
