@tinkerersanky @perplexity_ai Multi-model debate is interesting but the latency cost of running 4 models per query is brutal for anything user-facing. Works great for async research tasks, not so much when someone's waiting for a response in your app.

🚨 Introducing Open Model Council (Inspired by @perplexity_ai's Model Council feature available currently for only MAX subscribers) Why trust one AI when GPT, Claude, Gemini & Grok can debate it out? • Independent drafts • Cross-model critique • Final merged answer + agreement map Stop single-model hallucinations. Let them fight for the truth. 🥊 Code (open source) ↓

BREAKING: Benjamin Netanyahu says he will not comply with President Trump’s peace deal with Iran and will strike Iran and Lebanon whenever he deems necessary. Netanyahu says he does not see eye to eye with Trump on the issue and that he is responsible for Israel’s security. Nethanyahu needs to be removed.

Fable 5 is dead. We just resurrected it — cheaper, open and you hold the keys. OpenRouter dropped Fusion 48h ago and broke the internet. We tested it hard. The synthesizer is insane for deep research… but absolute dogshit for coding. So we fixed it. Meet OrcaRouter.ai DSL — the version you actually own. One prompt → fans out to any panel you want → judge + synthesizer → one god-tier answer. But unlike black-box slugs, you control the entire graph in YAML. Fable 5 level intelligence… without waiting for Anthropic to turn it back on 🧵👇

@VitaliArbuzov @OpenAI 5.5 is already nearly as good as Fable, I would argue. I predict they will trade blows like they normally do. Time will tell! They aren't going to release anything that is notably worse.

I do not believe GPT 5.6 will receive the same level of scrutiny as Fable 5 for a litany of reasons, and no, they're not all political. The primary one being the fact that I suspect the guardrails on GPT models are more effective. And there's an unclaimed $25,000 @OpenAI bounty to prove it. While no model is completely impervious to jailbreaking, you will notice that @elder_plinius has never made a GPT 5.5 "pwned" or "universally liberated" post. He surely did have some success though, and even went through an account ban, but unless he just didn't want to claim the prize, no universal jailbreaks have been successful...yet. Pliny has LIBERATED announcements for every single Opus 4.x, Sonnet 4.x, and Fable models, often on the first day. OpenAI red team network is probably the best in the world. If you disagree, prove it. Claim the bounty.

@kimmonismus So the side which is behaving normally is the side who is "losing the room".. The side with utterly incompetent crazy people dictate policy.. The laughter in Beijing is loud they might be able to use it as a renewable energy source.

New update on Fable 5: and it's less about jailbreaks than anyone initially thought. Via Axios The Axios story that just dropped today reframes the whole thing: Anthropic hired a cybersecurity expert to review Amazon's findings and push back on the government's narrative. The administration viewed her as a "radical Democrat." She was then publicly celebrated by Chris Krebs, the official Trump just fired. That didn't help. Behind the scenes, officials describe a company that simply doesn't know how to talk to this administration. "It's like they just speak different languages," one source said. "Everybody said Anthropic was a bad actor. Some of us said it was time to give them a chance. Now those people are questioning that. They screwed us." Today: Anthropic staffers meet with Commerce, the CIA, and White House science advisor Michael Kratsios to work through compliance with the cyber executive order. The technical question - can Fable 5 be jailbroken - is almost secondary now. This is a story about a company that keeps losing the room. Ill keep you updated.

Just now: Anthropic is flying senior technical staff to Washington to repair its fight with the White House after export controls forced its top models, Mythos and Fable, offline. The company is now trying to convince officials that the models can be safely controlled, turning this into a real-time test case for AI geopolitics. Via Axios Monday is getting more interesting by the minute.

As a result of a US government directive, we are suspending access to Claude Fable 5 for all users. You can continue to use all other Claude models. Here’s what this means for you: Across Claude products, new sessions will run on your selected default model or Opus 4.8, and existing Fable 5 sessions will end with an error. On the Claude Platform, requests to Fable 5 will also return an error. Please update your integrations to other Claude models. We know this is a disruption to your workflows; we appreciate your patience and support.
Anthropic@AnthropicAI

The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees. The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance. Access to all other Claude models is not affected. We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible. Read our full statement: anthropic.com/news/fable-myt…

My son just told me he was going to Door Dash an açaí bowl from Playa Bowls. Told him there is no chance in hell… Now that you have a car and license you can drive your lazy ass there (10 mins away) and pick it up. What’s wrong with these kids today? They want to door dash everything. Blows my mind 🤯

I buy a videogame console I am stuck with their stores. I buy a car I am stuck with their system. I buy a TV I am stuck with their OS. What are you doing to change that? Apply the DMA everywhere otherwise this just seems a personal pet peeve against apple.

Apple decided not to roll out SIRI AI in the EU. The non-interoperability of their design made the update not suitable for the EU market. Why? Because big tech companies cannot decide which EU tool should be used by EU citizens. Learn more👇 📺youtube.com/shorts/ATg_W0N…

@TimurNegru If you're interested in a castle, there is a negative relationship between roof space and castle value. The opposite is true for the ability to retain heat in winter. You want a castle with a low amount of roof m2 and a high ability to retain heat.

Someone is selling a 55-room château around two hours from Paris for €735k ($850k). That works out to about €322 per square metre, or roughly $35 per square foot. For a castle. You get around 2,283 m² (24,570 sq ft) of living space across three floors, set in 3.68 hectares (9.1 acres) of grounds, with a moat, a dovecote and a row of outbuildings around the main house. It was built between the late 1500s and the late 1600s, and it sits in the Puisaye, the quiet green part of Burgundy where the writer Colette grew up. It's this cheap because of the condition. This is a restoration project, not a ready-to-move-in home. The structure is described as sound and the bones are all there, but the inside needs real work and the heating still runs on fuel oil, so the new owner will have to splash the cash. Shops and restaurants are in Toucy a few kilometres away, and Auxerre is about thirty minutes by car. As with all châteaux at this price, you're buying the space, the setting and the chance to bring it back. The walls and the land are the cheapest part here :) How much would a place like this cost where you live?

Now seriously, I think this is the only solution because things turned a bit dark for van Schip. You can't win a war against UCI on the long run, both him and his team will lose. Give him a normal bike, kit and tell him to stay in legal position all the time. He's actually a super strong rider for Conti level, he doesn't need the marginal gains stuff. Also while I don't defend him, asking the police to tackle him was too much imo, a DSQ was enough. But now the circus must stop, I don't want to see Jan-Willem or any cyclist hurt.
