Mamdani won with the lowest share of the vote of any mayor in decades. He got 50.7% of the vote in an 85% Democratic city. He does not have a mandate to transform New York, and no amount of followers in the developing world is going to change that. @JMerockdim @JLecara Carbrained bullshit. If they can’t use Access-a-Ride, by definition they don’t need a private car either. Bikes don’t cause congestion. Private cars do and serve no purpose in the Theater District other than making it harder for those with mobility devices to get around.

@EAGsquared @JLecara 🐂💩. Not everyone who needs to go to a doctor can use access a ride. Get rid of the bikes. That will make it better for cars and for pedestrians.

@JMerockdim @JLecara No, there aren’t. Even if there were, it would be easier for those needing assistance to get to them if private cars were not allowed in the area. Access-a-Ride still would be, and people who require mobility devices would be able to use them more easily.
