Get a bigger and better understanding of organised crime in SA: Below is a picture of Brett Kebble, one of democratic SA's first well-known corruption kingpins.
Kebble believed the path to further riches and protection was through the Youth League of the ANC, the country's future leaders.
Fikile Mbalula, the late Songezo Mjongile and others were Kebble's project, his pets.
Andrew Minnaar, Kebble's butler, said the following: "Fikile was here often. He’d come here and in like an hour he’d finish a bottle of Johnny Walker Blue Label. Flat. Flat. They were like children in the house. They’d always be looking for something to eat and would drink only champagne." (From the book by the journalist Mandy Wiener, "Killing Kebble".)
When authorities started to close in, Kebble ordered a hit on himself, via the cocaine smuggler, Glenn Agliotti. Agliotti was the crook who bought the National Commissioner of Police, Jackie Selebi, with nice shoes. (The top cop price has now gone up with co-ord hats.)
It was at this time that the ANC under Thabo Mbeki understood how dangerous independent law enforcement and prosecution could be to the party's eating agenda. Mbeki ordered a Commission of Inquiry into the fitness of the NDPP, Vusi Pikoli, to protect Selebi, but couldn't prevent his comrade's downfall. The Interpol boss went to jail. The prosecutor was Gerrie Nel.
The Kebble hit, the ANC interference, the Selebi disgrace are part of the background to understand that the seeds of politically connected organised crime were planted at the outset of democracy. And the politicians associated with these criminals have always been there and thereabouts, rising to prominent positions.
It is quite understandable that Nel will want to go after Mbalula. He knows the SG has been dirty for two decades and the 2016 Dubai holiday scam is the best opportunity to get him.
What makes the Dubai holiday scam interesting is that some of the money Mbalula used to ostensibly used pay back the "loan" was the proceeds of the sale of a property supposedly co-owned by him and Sello Rasethaba. Rasethlaba was another Kebble protege, at the same time as Mbalula.
Tie all these strings together. Afriforum reminded the NPA that Mbalula holiday/loan was exactly the same transgression the SCA found in the Selebi case.

@_Tee__G @Tshakaza Honest question though, why are Nigerians so interested in coming to South Africa and for some of them even living there by all means possible? There are over 180 countries in the world, if SA says no why don’t you just try another country that might accept you legally 🤷🏾♀️.
English

@DaddyErioluwa @_Tee__G Don't give SAPS headaches. Go and fight Boko Haram 😡🙆

@ProudlyMsTee @RiseAgainstEvil @BoerPlan Where did you get the land from? When? How will the land be divided? Who gets and who don't? Illegal aliens too?
English

@RiseAgainstEvil @BoerPlan Correction we don't want the land.
We want OUR land back.
You can catch as many flights to the US and have front row seats with Elon & Trump, Oksalayo we want OUR land.
What we do with it, is none of your business.

Limpopo Farmers Feast on 30 Donated Cows Instead of Launching Farming Project.
A government-backed agricultural initiative took an unexpected turn after beneficiaries consumed the 30 cows awarded to them, turning the project into a large-scale community braai.
The livestock, donated through a partnership between a non-governmental organization and the Department of Agriculture, was meant to support local farmers in breeding, milk production and sustainable agriculture.
However, instead of developing a livestock farming enterprise, the recipients hosted a large-scale cookout, treating the cattle as a short-term benefit rather than a long-term investment.

@RodRheeLoaded @Patriot_S_A Don't use the supplies you're supposed to sell 🤷👺
English

@Patriot_S_A "They were following them not escorting as you allurded, they were waiting for the right moment to capture and arrest the perpetrators"
"they even called the back up" - Lawyers.
Whereas the call was to inform their colleagues not to arrest the smaglers...they will get their share

English

@GZwonaka @Patriot_S_A Prosecute them. Firing is automatic. Dereliction of duty. Union cannot intervene (which is what normally happens) and force years of suspension 🤷🙆👹👺
English

@Patriot_S_A Disgraceful. SAPS officers escorting 107 bags of drugs worth millions? These are the people we’re supposed to trust with our safety? Fire them immediately, charge them to the fullest extent of the law, and investigate every station commander in that area. Enough is enough.
English

@PNtlabati @Abramjee Another issue.... High ranking SAPS officers flooded/saturated the WC with firearms. Add to the disbandment of anti-drug units. This is the aftermath.
GIF
English

@Abramjee There's an over concentration of coloureds in the WC. This breeds gangsterism and rivaly since they lack cultural identity. Introducing them to other groups, say in Limpopo or Mpumalanga, can ease this tension and, in the long run, will have a positive sense of belonging.

@PNtlabati @Abramjee Are you smoking something? Jimmy, Zuma's one time advisor, proposed something similar years ago. Dumbass. Inequality and social economic issues is at the root of the problems. When WC asked for SAPS resources, it was denied by Nathi & Ria. SAPS is actually a national issue. Rifts

@McKay_Dingis024 Why didn't we start buying land? Tswanas did it in Bop. Apartheid played a part, but there's no such a thing as free land. Who will get and who will not?
Why not lease the land to foreigners, instead of selling it? Works in some countries.
