NEW: Jeffries may face a fight to become speaker in '27 even if Dems take the House
More Dem candidates tell @axios their vote is not a given.
"He's been failing to meet the moment," one told me
Said another: "I cannot support this kind of leadership" axios.com/2026/03/16/hak…

I honestly don't know how Gen. Caine can bear standing up there next to Hegseth.

🚨 US is dismantling its THAAD and Patriot Systems from South Korea to send it to the Middle East.
▪️ In 2017, South Korea sacrificed its diplomatic and economic relations with China to host US THAAD.
▪️ Chinese tourism to South Korea, worth billions of dollars, was abruptly stopped due to diplomatic standoff.
▪️K-Pop was banned in China.
▪️ Hyundai and Kia had to close their factories in China, ultimately losing their market shares in China.
▪️ South Korea lost billions of dollars of exports to China in order to host US THAAD and Patriot Systems.
📍Now, US has dismantled its THAAD and Patriot Missile Systems in South Korea and is sending to Middle East.

So Iran now has, perhaps for the first time, information about the location of our most sensitive covert sites in the region.
A completely foreseeable, unnecessary consequence of unnecessary war with Iran.

“And you see no reason why those men’s names are redacted in these files?”
“No, unless they were in some random lineup, but this requires the DOJ to respond to it.”
I’m posting this transcript from Monday for the finger pointers at DOJ (and their paid bot swarm) who are trying to blame anyone but themselves for DOJ’s failure to provide context for the list. As you can see and hear, I’m the one who first suggested a random lineup could be the context for four of the men that were redacted.

@Rep_Stansbury Pay attention to the legalese. He kept saying, "met" - he needs to be asked about continued contact, not just if he "met" him in person. Phone records should be interesting...

Columbia University said that it admitted a student to its dental school via an "irregular process" that coincided with fundraising solicitations by former faculty and alumni to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

Why did you redact Les Wexner’s name here in the first place?
Are there other documents where you have redacted his name, which is against Congress’ orders?
Todd Blanche@DAGToddBlanche
The document you cite has numerous victim names. We have just unredacted Les Wexner's name from this document, but his name already appears in the files thousands of times. DOJ is hiding nothing.

@RepRaskin Take more forceful steps, more forceful language. Instead of "baffling" or "puzzling" say "illegal" "breaking the law" "violating the law"
English

The DOJ is giving Members of Congress just four computers in a satellite office to read the unredacted Epstein File of more than 3 million documents. Working 40 hours a week on nothing else but this, it would take more than seven years for the 217 Members who signed the House discharge petition to read just the documents they've decided to release (and there are 3 million still being withheld).
This is what a cover up looks like.

@TeamTalaricoHQ @jamestalarico When is @jamestalarico going to be on the @PoliticsWarRoom with Carville?
English

.@JamesTalarico to Joe Rogan: My principal told me I was going to teach this kid named Justin, who had brought a knife to school. I told him I wanted to get to know him. We started to build a rapport. Right before winter break, he brought me this gift — a snowflake that he had bought at the Dollar Tree for his teacher.
I came back after winter break and heard this commotion. There were two of our coaches restraining Justin. That was the last time I ever saw him. Justin had been seeing a therapist provided by the school district, but because of budget cuts, the district had eliminated the therapist.
Adults he was trying to trust were abandoning him. That was the radicalizing experience for me. People at the state capitol had cut $5 billion from our schools. I promised myself that if I ever got power I would do everything I could to stop that. Justin and my students are the criteria I use to evaluate public policy.

@DAGToddBlanche How many lawyers from Trump 1.0 ended up arrested?

You looked at the document. You know it’s an email address that was redacted. The law requires redactions for personally identifiable information, including if in an email address. And you know that the Sultan’s name is available unredacted in the files. See EFTA00666117.
Be honest, and stop grandstanding.
Thomas Massie@RepThomasMassie
A Sultan seems to have sent this. DOJ should make this public. justice.gov/epstein/files/…
