@TheDataDecoded @hahussain I think Islam needs a reformation. Israel has won the wars and continues to seize more territory, but has become an international pariah. They're a parasitic welfare state and completely reliant on welfare to exist.

In all the wars Israel has fought since its independence in 1948, its enemies broadcast that they were beating the Jewish state. Every time the war ended, it turned out that Israel had given its enemies a beating. Wait and see what will come out after this Iran war stops.

What was the problem with letting Germany arm itself to the teeth in the late 1930's? They were a sovereign nation too. That's why attacking them and disarming them before they were ready for war with the entire continent would have been none of our business. All the talk of expanding their Lebensraum to the East all the way into Russia was their business. The fact we didn't meddle is exactly why from 1939 to 1945 the Germans famously kept minding their own business.

@SmokeyTheCone @IamSean90 Do you know what SOVEREIGN means? This attitude is exactly why America is getting humiliated on the world stage right now. We can't even take control of the strait of Hormuz. This Hubris along with underestimating your opponent will not end well. Iran is formidable

This is like asking why women don't take birth control when they're 7 months pregnant. NK has nukes & they use the threat to extract concessions & shield the regime. Iran doesn't now, & we don't want that problem in a way more strategic part of the world with a Theocratic regime
Stew Peters@realstewpeters

North Korea actually has nuclear warheads and ICBMs capable of reaching the U.S. So why is Iran a greater threat than N. Korea? They’re not. This war isn’t about nukes or security for the American people. It’s about serving Israel in their Middle East land grab.

It's just another way in which Jews are uniquely blamed everything at the same time: If they fight back they are genocidal, if they get killed they either deserved it because they are scum, or it's a false flag operation to have an excuse to attack their enemies and turn people against them. In the case of the Bondi attack we know tons about the background of the perpetrators (which mosque they frequented, what beliefs they espoused and where the got weapons training), revealing once again the deep anti-Jewish hatred that can easily be scripturally supported within Islam. Yet many will still call it a false flag operation.

The Iranian regime has clearly been motivated to develop nuclear weapons for decades now. Which is why Israel and the U.S. have previously engaged in cyber attacks, assassinations of nuclear scientists and, in the last year, in actual kinetic war. They are not going to let Iran develop these weapons.

There’s one thing stupider than spending 1.5 trillion to lose a war to a middle power in the Middle East, and that is spending 1.7 trillion to do so.

Are you saying Iran will come put of this being military stronger than before and therefore more threatening to its neighbors? You may be right about Hormuz. Not sure how things will get back to normal unless the U.S. and Israel continue to periodically degrade Iran's military capabilities, or there is a regime change.

@TheDataDecoded @Dogademia007 @TimothyDSnyder Did not fulfill the aim of the war. The result might be quite the opposite. Iran will enable ships throughout Hormuz on his conditions permanently. USA looks weak and later countriles like UAE will be left on their own in much worse situation than before.

@MikeZ____ @TimothyDSnyder Not to make light of the death of American soldiers, but soldiers dying is hardly a measure of whether a war has been lost or not. Not many wars have been won without any casualties.

@Dogademia007 @TimothyDSnyder That may very well be true if the U.S. gives up, but there is no indication that either the U.S. or Israel are ending the war anytime soon. Not sure how one can say the war is being lost.

@TheDataDecoded @TimothyDSnyder If the US leaves now: No regime change, and dissidents will probably be persecuted more harshly. No recovery of the uranium, and Iran's military can continue to wreak havoc on the region and the economy for a long time – and continue to fight with Israel.

@soul_of_germany @crocoduck_king There is a problem with the Muslim community but you don't need to say all Muslims are this or that. That is a very low-IQ thing to do. If you don't want this to be turned on you one day, don't do it.

A lot of Muslims nowadays and throughout history seem to have been unaware. Of course Prophet Muhammad's own history seem to contradict the aforementioned Surah. Either way, to say that something is forbidden by the Quran therefore it can't happen is as disingenuous as saying that murders don't take place because there are laws against them. Well, people do indeed commit murders and m, similarly many Muslims throughout history and still nowadays think apostates should be murdered and the infidels converted. To deny this is to live in la la land.

@hahussain That's forbidden It's literally in the Quran if you cared to read it. Surah Al-Baqarah 2:256: "There shall be no compulsion in [acceptance of] the religion." Surah Al-Ghashiyah 88:21–22: "So remind, [O Muhammad]; you are only a reminder. You are not over them a controller.

Every non-Muslim and non-Arab community in the Middle East must have its own state, or it will vanish. This is Bethlehem, the city where Jesus was born. Its population was once 100 percent Christian and remained around 90 percent until 1950. Since the Palestinian Authority took control in 1993, the Christian share has fallen to just 16 percent and continues to decline. Christians cite these reasons for leaving Jesus’ birthplace: violence and coercion to convert to Islam, religious and legal discrimination, desecration of holy sites, and social exclusion. A Palestinian state, if established, would mark the end for Christians, Jews, Druze, and all other non-Muslim and non-Arab communities.

@RangeWolf2229 @VividProwess Meaning, killing civilians is ok if your side does it. The perhaps you have no moral standing to be pontificating against the actions of the IDF. If anything goes, what's the problem?

Yuval, a survivor of the Nova Music Festival on October 7th: “I saw my husband dead. I covered myself with his blood so they'd think we were dead. We saw point-blank killings. The hardest thing we witnessed was the rape. I never heard cries for help like those from that woman."

@LeftJab4 @nxd1979 By no means is it a uniquely Balkan phenomenon. Based on data I saw years ago the Balkans and the Middle East have the highest rates of conspiratorial thinking, but I imagine the rest of the World is now not lagging far behind sadly.

So the fact that all large gatherings, including those at Jewish religious sites, have been prevented due to the Iranians strikes is not relevant to mention in your view. You just present this fact s discriminatory when everyone has to abide by the same rule. You just hate Israelis.

At this point, even if you are completely opposed to everything Israel is trying to achieve, you must worry about the almost complete normalization of anti-Jewish hatred and threat of violence seen everywhere around the world. We are sleepwalking into another pogrom if we continue down this path. It is especially worrying how the left has brought itself to a position where its reproducing both Nazi and Islamic tropes about Jews without the tiniest hint of irony. This is all dangerous and it's likely to get worse due to generational differences.
