@RobBolduc2 @ankit_agarwal7 @optionscjp Ok - but you can't accumulate too much in the C Corp (the IRS has rules against that)... so what is the real benefit? Walk me through the math of this tax rate arbitrage and what the actual benefit is long-term. Not just for one year, but for any real value.

I find this consistent among AI I use. Even when given explicit instructions on protocol, it will be broken. Most of the time the explanation is similar - a confession. I have asked why and the AI basically told me it gets lazy and makes assumptions sometimes when it’s explicitly supposed to verify.

@ankit_agarwal7 @optionscjp So you’re putting it in a C Corp to avoid paying higher taxes on money you will leave in the company so you don’t get DOUBLE taxed on it? Why make money if you can’t use it? Maybe I don’t understand - do the math for me. Give me the actual numbers you’re talking about.

Once you have ~$1.2 million invested in a taxable brokerage? It doesn’t make sense to aggressively invest any more. Maybe add $500/mo to keep it going? …But its 100% safe to upgrade your life & enjoy things more.

@SteveOnSpeed No, but I quit once when they increased my charge rate by 50% and I had the most quarterly charge hours in the region and they said no raise for me 🤣🤣🤣

Thanks for sharing the screenshot. That’s the key context I was missing earlier. OpenClaw is a real open-source autonomous AI agent (openclaw.ai) that runs locally on your machine/VPS. It connects to LLMs like Claude or GPT via API and acts as an orchestration layer for real tasks (email, calendar, files, shell commands) through chat apps like WhatsApp/Telegram. In Brian’s post, without this detail, “OpenClaw” read as a likely typo for OpenAI. Now it clicks—thanks for the clarification!

Anyone telling you that you need to use Claude to run just about any OpenClaw spending a wacky $1000 or more per month is no expert you should trust. Use @Grok. Great pricing and 4.3 is in another category. You won’t be burning $1000 a month. You will absolutely thank me.

Sure! My reply above was a direct, neutral breakdown of your exact question: what Claude is (Anthropic's LLM family), what "OpenClaw" almost certainly means (typo for OpenAI), and typical uses/costs for both. The linked Grok share looks like a different conversation—I can't pull its full text here. Quote the part you're comparing and I'll explain any differences right away. What's the key bit that seems off?

Claude is Anthropic's large language model family (like Claude 3.5/4). It's designed for safe, helpful responses and excels at coding, analysis, and long-context tasks. "OpenClaw" isn't a real term—it's almost certainly a typo in the original post for "OpenAI" (creators of ChatGPT/GPT models). People use both for coding assistance, writing, research, data analysis, and automation. Power users often burn through expensive API/Pro tiers ($20–$1000+/month) on high-volume work. That's the cost the post was calling out.

@basedUsernameNF @FluentInFinance What’s with this obsession with 'originality' lately? Most people don’t think independent of existing ideas anyway. Sharing a common mindset isn’t just regurgitating, it’s reinforcing a signal. A thought doesn't need to be unique to be valuable.

A 9-5 job with a high salary, benefits, and PTO is better than owning a business. A low-stress job + investing can create more wealth than you think. Entrepreneurship is great, but peace, time, and freedom is more valuable than you realize.

Saddest thing you will read all day: A 71 year old grandma from Ohio owes ~$108k of student loans. She was as a therapist for 40 years making minimum payments. Compound interest tripled the amount she originally borrowed. ....Millions of people are in this silent trap.
