Not only that time is money
But money also was your time
If you pay more on gas it makes no sense to spend that money.
Maybe keep your current car for the long commute and get a Tesla for the others
I’ve done multiple road trips on a Tesla and honestly by the time I need to charge my car I also need to recharge
Bathroom and food.. and most of the times the car is done charging before I’m done eating.
Maybe book an overnight test drive to see how much you like it.

And for the #teslarites who don’t understand 500 miles. Time is money. How long does it take to pump a tank of gas? 4-5 mins versus 30. Early last week I went up to the Yosemite area (about 300 miles.) I got up there, did my thing and got gas (5 mins) and drove back. With a Tesla. It would be drive up (maybe on one charge) charge up 20-30 mins, do my thing. Drive back, stop along the way to recharge (again probably another 20 mins…) That’s too long. 500 would be one recharge so it’s 10 mins gas versus 29-30 mins which I would consider.🤷🏼

I love this app They got rid of the 140 characters and expanded it to 280 And when that wasn’t enough they told you you can now write a Facebook post on 𝕏 by paying for a blue check mark And when that wasn’t enough they added an Article feature to allow you write even longer posts And tried to heavily push it But they know you don’t want to read it and your attention span is 12 seconds So they added a feature to summarize the articles for you!

It’s an incredible book the author David Pogue spent couple of years on this book and included a massive history of the company and its co founders history.

I just recived my copy of Apple the first 50 years by @Pogue @amazon were nice enough to ship it in a box larger than they should’ve used and somehow has some grease on the cover though the box was dry! So it arrived in this condition 🙃 The book however is massive! And I’m so excited to start reading it.

But if you have a 12 seconds attention span then just know that he purchased 2 original Tesla Roadsters, sold 1, paid the $50K deposit then referred enough people to get a free one, got his deposit back, and a lot of drama around it, but he thinks after 9 years it’s actually happening this year.

They have been very lousy with shipping
They still pay their employees minimum wages
They give them very high quotas to meet
And the no longer provide much shipping materials
I’ve been getting so many boxes that are mostly empty and too large for the package, with a strip of paper that isn’t enough to keep anything in place, too many packages aren’t arriving in good shape but if they aren’t meant to be persevered I don’t care much…
But please… wrap my books and keep them in a good shape!

@AlSultan_Meriam @Pogue @amazon So sad they have gotten so bad at shipping books... where they started. I remember when they would shrink wrap books to cardboard sized to the box so it was suspended — stopping it from slamming around during shipping.
