@wholemars I would need Sentry/Dash cam mode as well. If the vehicle has all four of those things (with NACS at the driver side rear) I would consider getting a different vehicle other than a Tesla.
Until that day comes, I plan to own a Tesla for life.

Rivian should simply license FSD from Tesla
With an NACS port and FSD support, millions of Tesla customers would consider one. Without it, it’s not an option for me and many others.
You will burn billions of dollars and years of time trying to come out with something that is equivalent. Preserve your capital and focus on ramping R2. There’s always an opportunity to vertically integrate in the future when you’re ready to do so.

I was in a Rivian showroom and pretty much everyone asked when is FSD coming? The store rep said it’s in development (aka product backlog.) We all know what it means. @Tesla is just miles ahead (no pun intended) & literally pulling the industry forward. Kudos @elonmusk

@CyberMikeOG I really do not understand why the Y7 exists. Why not just add a 7 seat configuration to the YL? It's a car actually designed for three proper rows.

One of the biggest complaints from those sitting in my 7 seater Model Y is the lack of vents in the third row. It gets warm back there with no airflow. People are going to love having dedicated vents for the second and third row.

In a surprising twist, it looks like the @Tesla Model Y L is less comfortable to sleep in during road trips involving a mattress.
The non-L version is much flatter with the seats folded down and doesn't have several large awkward step-ups/downs.

You couldn’t make it up if you tried. The @nytimes has doubled down and still clearly blames Tesla in their headline for the suicide mission that this motherfucker went on. The New York Times has given up any modicum of credibility that they have left. They deliberately continue to reference autopilot to suggest that the software was in control of the vehicle. This is clear defamation. It’s intended to harm the reputation and safety of Tesla’s premier product. Exactly zero % of this fatal crash was caused by Tesla software. Yet the New York Times won’t retract their clear and obvious false claims. It’s sickening.

@RonDeSantis Have you looked into adding Tesla's to the fleet for cost savings within state agencies yet? Would love to see some FHP Tesla's now that the Dodge charger is getting phased out. Would even save the tax payers money as well.

No doubt.
If we save on fuel costs, reduce mishaps through FSD and get lower insurance rates, that could be some real benefits for taxpayers when applied across the fleet.
And from a law enforcement/performance perspective, the Teslas are very fast and powerful. I’d imagine that would stack up favorably to legacy vehicles.
