@vxunderground I live on 2.5 acres. I hate rain...My yard is so green this year it is taking hours and hours just to get rid of weeds and I don't even notice a dent.

The cool thing about owning a home is you can do whatever you want with it. The bad thing about owning a home is it's a fucking big hunk of fucking junk and for some reason dumb small shit happens all the time If you've got a pussy fart worth of space between your outside walls and attic, or roof, or something, dumb ass lady bugs will come in. Once they're inside they won't do anything except go to your windows and die in hoards like a bunch of dumbasses. I fucking HATE LADY BUGS. I HATE SIDING. I HATE WEATHER WHICH IMPACTS HOME SIDING AND CAN DETERIORATE MATERIAL OVER TIME

❗️Microsoft announced it will stop forcing Copilot everywhere. They're reducing unnecessary Copilot entry points in apps like Snipping Tool, Photos, Widgets, and Notepad. Focus will shift to performance, reliability, and craft. Windows should become more user-friendly and faster to use.

March 2026 will go down as the hottest and almost certainly driest March in California history. Much of the state will have seen weeks of May/June-like weather in winter/early spring. Some locations are running nearly 15°F above normal for the month so far.

@MorosKostas I have events coming up where I am unable to carry. The worst part is that they are events that would have increased risk of getting attacked to begin with...

Today's events are further evidence that you should be carrying everywhere you are legally able, and fighting fiercely against state restrictions on so-called "sensitive places" unless they offer comprehensive security. SAF is doing what we can on the legal front, and have stopped some of the worst attempted abuses. Unfortunately, in antigun states getting a carry permit can be quite a long process. The best time to start that process was months ago, but the second best time is now. If you are in the LA area, may I suggest my old colleague and friend Alex Frank, and his new CCW school, Asset Training Group. I'll include the website link below. Asset Training Group is an approved trainer for Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), Beverly Hills PD, Santa Monica PD, Torrance PD, and Gardena PD.  And, through a partnership with another CCW school, they can now also provide training for Los Angeles Sheriff's Department (LASD) applicants too! Alex also separately offers 1 on 1 training, and is willing to guide you through the process of choosing the proper firearms for you.

For a long time, no new semiautomatic handguns could be sold in California thanks to our so-called Unsafe Handgun Act, which required various "safety features" be included in any handgun sold here (unless they existed prior to those requirements existing and were grandfathered in). While the magazine disconnect and chamber load indicator requirements are annoying and unwanted, they are at least technologically feasible. But the microstamping requirement was not. Because that became required in 2013 thanks to Kamala Harris, our handgun market was essentially frozen in time for a decade. The original Shield was just about the newest semiautomatic handgun you could buy in California, unless you paid a fortune for off-roster guns secondhand (either from a cop, or from someone who moved here from out of state). Boland v. Bonta ended that in 2023. Microstamping was enjoined, and later repealed by the legislature (with plans to possibly bring it back in the future). Now, when a new semiautomatic is added to the roster, it has an asterisk noting it is there due to the Boland injunction. While multiple people did good work on the matter, the Boland case was primarily the brainchild of my former colleague Alex Frank. It was his baby until he left the firm recently. So if you have bought a modern handgun in California in the last couple of years, you have Alex to thank. Well, now he has made a bit of a career shift and opened up a training school called Asset Training Group: "At Asset Training Group, we firmly believe that unless you take concealed carry very seriously, you are more likely to be a liability with your gun than an asset. We want you to be an asset, and we want to help you become one." I encourage everyone in the Los Angeles area who can to use Asset Training Group for their required CCW course. Support those who supported you! While Alex is trying to become an approved trainer for more departments, for now he is an approved instructor for: Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) Beverly Hills PD Santa Monica PD Torrance PD Gardena PD

Fri will be the warmest day of this week, w/ widespread 80-90s outside of the higher mtns & the potential for several broken daily temp records. Heat illness can happen year-round here, so just a reminder to drink extra water & take breaks in the shade if working/playing outside!

It is completely possible to simultaneously believe the following two things: (1) Intentionally seeking out confrontations with cops while you're legally carrying a firearm is a bad idea that increases the chances of bad things happening, including cops believing [reasonably or negligently] that you're a threat. (2) The 2A community can and should insist that officials be precise with their statements, to avoid recklessly insinuating that the lawful exercise of 2A rights is inherently threatening or that totally normal actions [like carrying extra mags] are inherently suspicious. Be. Better.

If exercising a right requires a lawyer, a permit, and constant compliance checks, it’s no longer a right. It’s a privilege on probation. We reject that premise entirely.

@Ghosts0331 @MAC_Arms It wasn't an "execution" but it was a bad shoot. Better training and calmer heads all-around could have prevented this. Shouldn't be giving anyone any "martyrs"

@MAC_Arms No. Video clearly shows one officer pulling the same gun they showed to the media out of the suspects waist, after that point shots were fired. Either the suspect had another gun that hasn’t been shown yet (unlikely) or officers got trigger happy and murdered a guy.

Was the shoot in MN justified in your view today? I know I’m late to the commentary but I’ll explain why in my next post.

@SoCalOSINT @CroakVan You're skipping over the part where the Left has been agitating for violent confrontations for months. They WANT these deaths. There's plenty of officer involved shootings similar to this in history. The officer is almost never charged.

Not seeing this mentioned anyplace - the man was illegally carrying. Minnesota is NOT a Constitutional Carry state. If he had a gun and no ID, he committed a crime punishable by up to a year in jail. Longer if he's done it before, or obviously if he's a prohibited person.

Oh I’m Antifa now? I guess @TheJusticeDept is back to targeting gun owners as domestic terrorists. You can want illegals & criminals off the streets and not want to see CCW permit holders get executed for “approaching” law enforcement.
F.A. United States Attorney Bill Essayli@USAttyEssayli

Ignore the Antifa “pro-2A” accounts working overtime to justify violence against law enforcement. No one is buying it, and we will restore law and order on American streets.

@2aHistory @CroakVan I don't have faith in the agency to have a proper investigation here. You have an agency that is rushing to fill ranks, fills them with washouts from other depts, and then puts them in the highest stakes and most visible part of the national stage. It's a recipe for disaster.

@2aHistory @CroakVan It could be as simple as having it in your backpack/edc bag and passing it off in the moment while you are doing something. There could be more pressing thoughts on the mind at the moment. I carry ID in my wallet when I go out, but once I am doing something it's an afterthought.

@SoCalOSINT @CroakVan Sure, there's possibilities. Maybe he rode with a friend and didn't need his drivers license. But carrying if you have a permit, and not having DL/permit on you could very likely result in being detained overnight while they verify your ID. Why would you risk that?

@2aHistory @CroakVan Counterpoint. The ID argument is shaky. If I have a wallet in my bag or backpack, and it's lost in the shuffle or my friend is carrying it, that is a narrative that can be pushed if I am dead and can't say, "oh my wallet is over there."

@CroakVan Practically every leftwing martyr is one who resisted arrest, and would be alive if they hadn't resisted. And almost every one had committed crimes prior. But arming oneself to go to a protest and leaving your ID home is not indicative of a law abiding person.
