Like your stuff Eric. But gross oversimplification. Yes, stocks tend to go up. But you had to wait qtr century after Great Depression to get back to flat. You had to wait 15 years in inflation era. You had to wait 10+ after dotcom. Dont even get me started on early 1900s and 1800s. Imagine all the ppl that retired and had to use those funds at deep deficits. Beyond that …S&P data tainted by survivorship bias, lack of transx fees etc.

There are no aliens. Even if there were (and there aren't) they would have no way of getting here. The distances are simply too vast. Far, far too vast. The nearest star outside of our own sun is 4.2 light-years away. No aliens, no matter how clever, will ever be able to travel anywhere near the speed of light. The laws of physics prevent it. To accelerate any mass at all (even a pebble) to anything approaching even 1/3rd the speed of light would take incomprehensibly vast amounts of energy. You need a lot of spaceship (and I mean YUGE) to hold that much energy. So, now you've got a heck of a lot more than a pebble to move. Your energy problem just got infinitely worse. It's impossible folks. ET ain't out there, and even if he was, he ain't dropping by for a visit.

I'm a huge supporter of Elon's ventures (2 Teslas, FSD, $TSLA shareholder, 2 Starlinks), but I don't think insurance is in their wheelhouse.

You’ve had multiple chances to transfer to HW4 where we now have the functionality that was promised. Or you can wait a few more months to see if they can squish the model down to HW3. Or you can wait a year or so if they can’t for a retrofit.
The only real claim you have is if we get in an accident and the car is totaled we are SOL and have to switch back to subscription on a new car.
