As far as I know, all popular fiction writers cranking out novels like crazy have a team of ghostwriters. I learned this when I worked in the library system and started asking questions as to how James Patterson could release a new 500-pager every 6 weeks.

Basically impossible to drive at night without wearing sunglasses. These new headlights are blinding. Incredibly dangerous. Insane that this is allowed while so many more minor car design features are prohibited on safety grounds.

'Shot Caller' (2017) is a surprisingly accurate depiction of life in prison. The film shows outsiders why and how prisoners--particularly within the California Dept. of Corrections system--organize along racial lines and defer to the informal rule of a "shot caller."

@ZackStrength My biggest issue is finding socks that fit. Most companies make them up to size 12 shoe. I like the company Farm to Feet as they come in XL up to size 14.5 and the way the sock stretches is better than other brands I've tried so it's overall more comfortable.

This map was purchased by Chinese collector Liu Gang in 2001 at an antique store in Shanghai for $500. It is dated 1763 and bears the inscription: "This map was drawn by Mo Yi Tong, a Qing dynasty subject, during the reign of Emperor Gong Li in 1763 from an original map of 1418. The Chinese map, however, already shows both Americas. And both coasts, both west and east. And that's 74 years before Columbus arrived there.

@ek_bhediya @ZackStrength Also, some manufacturers have different convection settings that allow you to separately control the lower baking element, the fan, and the top broiling element so you can find the mode that works best for the dish you are cooking.

@ek_bhediya @ZackStrength I can chime in here as I have a convection oven. They are amazing and worth it imo. Yes the food is crispier and it also cooks faster. It also evens out the heating in the oven so top and bottom racks cook evenly (without this bottom cooks faster)

@wokalyte @zamli @JonasDeRo I don't have an opinion on whether it's easy or hard to make the videos but if they are easy to make in after effects why hasn't someone just reproduced them in full? The corridor crew attempt clearly looked fake. Seems this would help put it to rest.

@zamli @JonasDeRo He already mentioned in his original video that it seemed to be work of an amateur. He pointed out that even back when this was made, it was easily done in After Effects with some tutorials. He also mentions simple ways in which it could have been made better /u untraceable.

@ScottAdamsSays I also have the opposite problem, if I want to travel and bring a pump bottle I can never figure out how to close the mechanism and so I just end up wasting several pumps and then give up and put it in a plastic bag

@anymanfitness I've thought about this, in addition to the size difference I think houses today are just built better. There are examples of how homes today are worse like lumber quality but overall I think better windows, electrical, plumbing, insulation/weather proofing etc outweigh the cons

This is something nobody wants to talk about. Yes, in 1970, you could live comfortably. BUT you probably had a small house, kids shared bedrooms, and it was in a blue collar area. These days people want to live in a 2500+ square foot house, in a great neighborhood out of college on an entry level salary. That has never been possible…
