@tomhousesports Could you please reiterate your position on players (especially pitchers) taking the last few months of year (“offseason”) & trying to hit 90s or 100 while running & throwing at the net. Could you please include/cite the empirical evidence and/or data on which you rely. Thx!

Healthy food/hydration. Remember, the best recovery solution is to never develop a work capacity problem in the first place. At those ages, the priority should be on training to build a higher level of resilience. They’re not highly trained enough to impose considerable fatigue.
