@onejasonknight My 1st "x" post in nearly a year (I'm @ericberlin_seattle on Threads)... Reaction to this video is completely bizarre, and the notion that it spurred tech/prod mgt layoffs, even *if* true, would illustrate that PMs weren't understood/appreciated in those orgs in the first place.

@TheTrueBrendanF Could not disagree more. Janice is an all-time chaos agent, and Richie is one of the best creepy (relative) "bad guy" foils for Tony -- so much so that I wish they kept him around longer. Also, Season 2 is just Peak Sopranos on every level.

I think where I'm struggling a bit with season 2 is that Janice and Richie feel like pale retreads of Livia and Junior and their respective hate-love relationships to Tony.

@tonytost So well stated. I love watching the movie just for that aspect alone. And for that and other reasons, I really believe it's a masterpiece

ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD (2019). I'm intoxicated by how this film presents culture as being so essential to everyday life. Everyone listens to KHJ. Movie posters line every street. Sharon Tate dances to Paul Revere & the Raiders & geeks out over Thomas Hardy.

@MadMenQts "The Jet Set" is one of my favorite episodes, showed off fit the first time how Mad Men could go off in wildly different directions when it wanted to.

Exactly 45 years ago, Talking Heads released "More Songs About Buildings and Food." I love this album. I love this title. And I'm still waiting for the sequel, "Even More Songs About Buildings and Food."

@NBA_NewYork And Quickley is only 24. He was immensely valuable in the regular season and *started* playing better right before he got hurt in the playoffs. He deserves to get re-signed; he's part of the culture the knicks are building.

The throughline of this show and all its seasons is you can’t give anyone a feature through a contest.

Started watching the new PROJECT GREENLIGHT. I have watched every season. It’s always interesting and frustrating. One thing that’s already struck me as different: they picked the person who made the best scene, even though she wasn’t the “best in the room.”

@Geniusbastard I am obsessed with Project Greenlight and didn't realize there was a new season avail, thank you! Also thought that single season of The Chair (the Starz docuseries, not the Sandra Oh limited series, which was quite good!) was absolutely fascinating, wished there was more.

The experience in terms of content/community on Threads has vastly exceeded my expectations, and the engagement I'm seeing is *insane*.
