Over 35 days since she was abducted, my Personal Assistant's wife Fauzia Natabi (in the first frame) was yesterday dumped at the Chief Magistrate Court in Kanyanya which charged and subsequently remanded her to Kasangati Prison. Laughably, she was charged with using a phone to threaten a stranger, just a few hours after regime officials filed affidavits swearing that they neither had her in their custody nor knew where she was! Relatedly, comrade 'Gen. Blue Tick' who was abducted on 9th April as she headed for the vigil of comrade Waiswa Mufumbiro's wife in Mutungo is still missing. The regime continues to remain silent about her whereabouts. Taken together, the cases of these two ladies expose a consistent pattern of abductions and denials of our comrades that are intended to silence the regime's opponents. Dear friends, family, and valued colleagues, it is with profound sorrow that we share the passing of our beloved Mother, Mama Nakisuyi Ruth Biribawa Safia, mother of my dear husband, Honourable Eng. @MosesMagogo. Mama Ruth peacefully left us this afternoon at Kampala Hospital. A vigil will be held tomorrow, Thursday, 9th April, at our home in Kagulu, Buyende District, followed by her burial on Friday, 10th April. This is Natabi Fauzia, who we fondly call Maama Kyeyune — the wife of my Personal Assistant 𝐃𝐨𝐧 Sheriff Najja. She was abducted on 12th March 2026 when the military raided her home looking for me, and since that day she has never been seen again. It is now 17 days and she remains missing. This entire incident was captured on video as armed men dressed in UPDF uniforms shoved her into a waiting ‘drone’ and drove away. To date, neither the Uganda Police nor the UPDF has come forward to explain who these individuals were or where she was taken. Since her abduction, we have taken every lawful step to secure her release or at least establish her whereabouts: 1. The matter was immediately reported to the relevant security authorities, but no clear answers have been provided to date — neither do they even acknowledge or address the incident. 2. Formal complaints have been filed with various human rights organizations and stakeholders, and continuous follow-ups have been made, but all yielding no meaningful response. 3. Legal action has been initiated, including efforts to compel authorities to produce her in court and account for her disappearance. The application is set to be heard on 1st April 2026 at 8:00 AM in the High Court at Kampala. Despite all these efforts, Maama Kyeyune remains missing. Her family continues to endure immense emotional pain as they wait for any information regarding her safety. We demand her immediate and unconditional release or, at the very least, that she be presented before a competent court of law to answer whatever charges her abductors may have against her. No family deserves to go through this. No citizen should disappear without explanation. #WhereIsMaamaKyeyune

In a candid conversation H.E R.S Kyagulanyi emphasized the need for a comprehensive review of the U.S-Uganda relations, the depleting state of democratic principles and most of all the violation of human rights and civil liberties by state agencies. In his recommendations, he emphasized the need for IFOs to follow public funds that have been misused by Museveni’s regime, hold public officials accountable and for the @USTreasury/@StateDept impose targeted sanctions to those responsible for violation of human rights.
